Формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, парная

ХОД УРОКА

1. Приветствие. Создание благоприятной психологической обстановки.

What is the date today? What is the weather like today? Did you enjoy the weekend?

How are you today? Let’s start our lesson …

2. Целеполагание. Слайд 1.

Look at the picture and name the objects. You see, such an unusual composition!

Find the word which can combine all these objects.

The topic of our lesson is “World Festivals.” Слайд 2.

3. Выполнение упражнений на повторение изученной лексики.

The Great City

St. Petersburg is one of the_____ (many, more, most) beautiful cities of Russia.

St. Petersburg is often called Russian capital of culture, northern Venice. It is the second ____ (large, larger, largest) city in Russia. Few world cities can boast of so many sights, museums, opera houses, palaces, parks and monuments.

This city is famous for its remarkable atmosphere. There is a phrase “Open your heart to the city and it will open for you and will remain in your heart forever”. And if it really happens whenever you _____ (go, come, meet) to St. Petersburg, the city will receive you as its native child.

Without any doubt, “White Nights” are the most popular time for tourists. A lot of festivals and excursions are conducted in the city in June and July.
