Цель: активизировать лексический материал по достопримечательностям Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга.
Задачи:
- Образовательные: закрепить знания учащихся в названиях достопримечательностей Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга, средств передвижения, их произношении, развивать устную речь по теме, тренировать навыки техники чтения вслух и восприятия информации на английском языке на слух, активизировать знания употребления пассивного залога, условного предложения и числительных.
- Воспитательные: воспитывать умение слушать других, воспитывать интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка; воспитывать чувство патриотизма к своей Родине.
- Развивающие: развивать внимание и логическое мышление
Тип урока: повторительно-обобщающий
Оборудование: видеопроектор, персональный компьютер, раздаточный материал, картинки с изображениями достопримечательностей (наглядный материал), презентация PowerPoint (Приложение № 5).
Ход урока.
Перед началом урока столы расставлены так, чтобы уместились 2 команды. Учащиеся делятся на команды, занимают свои места. У каждого участника на столе лежат перевернутые: кроссворд, листочки с текстом, название команды, фломастеры, комплект достопримечательностей.
1. Организационный момент.
Good afternoon, students! I’m glad to see you! Sit down, please. Today we have a very unusual lesson. We have two teams. Don’t be afraid to answer and listen to each other, and be attentive!
What date is it today? What day of the week is it? Do you like travelling? Where did you travel last time? What kind transport do you prefer?

5. Задание на соотнесение достопримечательностей с городами. (Приложение № 2)
Now let’s look at the white sheets of paper on your desks. There are sights of different cities and the years of their foundation . You have 1 minute to discuss, choose a picture that you can see in your city. You should come to the blackboard, match it to the city and say “If I go to... I can see ... . It was built in... .” And you do it one by one.

Well done! And now let’s learn more about Moscow and Saint Petersburg! On your desks there are cards. Let’s take them. Here are sentences. You should match these sentences in the logical order and you’ll have texts about your cities (Moscow and St. Petersburg). You read this information and then present the information to your class one by one. Listen attentively, because after this you’ll have to answer questions about Moscow and St. Petersburg.
