Цели урока:

  • активизация лексики по теме «Окружающая среда в речи»;
  • развитие навыков устной речи по теме;
  • активизация грамматического материала: словообразование, условные предложения.

Оборудование: записи на доске, плакаты, видеоаппаратура, карточки, Презентация.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент

– Good morning!
– How are you?
– I’m glad to see you!

II. Постановка целей

– Let’s watch a short video! What are we going to speak about? What is the theme of our lesson?
– Yes, you are right. Today we are going to speak about our ecology, environment and nature.

III. Активизация лексики по теме «Окружающая среда»

1. Do you know these words? Read and translate them. (Slide 3)

  • Protect from pollution, protection of, protective clothing, domestic rubbish, cans of food
  • Chemical wastes, waste paper, it’s a waste of time, throw away, paper, glass
  • Pollute, to be polluted by, air pollution, sea pollution, antipollution laws, drop, pour out
  • Environment, to protect the environment, the pollution of the environment, environmental problems/research, recycle

2. Look at the blackboard! You can see a lot of notices and warnings. (Slide 4)

a) what are they about ?
b) where could you see these notices?

3. We live in one planet. Classify these words according to the types of environment. (Slide 5)

IV. Развитие навыков устной речи по теме

 Our planet is so wonderful, but we have some ecological problems. You should work in pairs. Work with your face partner. Answer the question:

1. What ecological problems do exist nowdays?
2. Now describe these pictures. (Slides 7-15)
3. The next task. Fill in the gaps. (Slide 16)

These days people have realized how important the(1)_______  is.
