1) Ознакомить с новыми ЛЕ и речевыми образцами по теме “Школа”;
2) Активизировать и употребить новые речевые образцы в монологической и диалогической речи;
3) Выполнить задания по аудированию с постановкой правильного ответа;
4) Воспитать позитивное отношение к школе.

Ход урока
I. Организационный момент (warming up)
Good morning, dear students. My name is Galina Petrovna, I’m an English teacher from Secondary school #1 named after Isidor Barakhov. The topic of our lesson is “School in my life”. Now I’d like to ask you some questions about school:
1) Do you like to go to school? Why?
2) What is your favorite subject?
II. Now let’s think about our school and speak which associations you’ve got when you think of it. (слайд с кластером “School”).
III. Now I think it’s a high time to ask you why you go to school. (слайд с кластером “I go to school to... because...)
IV. OK. Now open your textbooks at p. 8, ex. 2. You are to read through the list of reasons why students go to school and rate them according to those most and least important to you. For example, if training your memory is the most important reason for you (слайд), you should write here #1.

V. Now I’d like to divide you into 2 groups. Let’s do ex. 3 at p. 9. On the screen and in your textbook you can see dialogue vocabulary about the reasons of going to school. Using this vocabulary you should speak about why you go to school. I give you 3 minutes to get ready.
