Данный урок является заключительным в 7-м классе по теме «Современные научные достижения». Он направлен на развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции, умения использовать новую лексику в рамках стандартных ситуаций общения, что необходимо при обучении иностранному языку на любом этапе, поэтому он может быть использован при работе с любым УМК.
Образовательные задачи:
- Обобщить и закрепить знание учащимися лексики.
- В игровой форме провести контроль коммуникативных умений учащихся в предложенных ситуациях.
- Усилить мотивацию изучения английского языка.
Развивающие задачи:
- Развивать навыки говорения (монологическую и диалогическую речь).
- Развивать навыки аудирования.
- Развивать навыки употребления в речи пассивного залога.
- Развивать творческие способности учащихся.
Воспитательные задачи:
- Воспитывать культуру общения.

The Inventions That Changed The World.
When you imagine inventors, you probably picture lone genius in a laboratory inventing brilliant devices, experimenting and making careful observations. But no invention is created in a vacuum. Every single one was built on previous inventions created by other inventors years, decades or even centuries before.

– Name the inventions you have seen.
Look at the blackboard.
– Read the transcriptions carefully.
– Match the word with the invention with the transcription.
– Read them.
– Look at the pictures (1–25) and say what invention you see.
Work in groups.
– Match the picture and the card with information about the invention.
– Complete the information card (invention/ who made it/ when)
Supplement 1
Tell the class what information you have found about the inventions.
E.g.” The electric telegraph was invented by Samuel Morsein 1836.”
– Tell us when the invention was made and who did it (Passive Voice) .
– What invention do you like most of all? Why?
