Цели урока. Систематизировать знания учащихся по теме “Осень”, тренировать детей в умении вести общение на английском языке в предлагаемых ситуациях, развивать устную речь.
Задачи урока. Тренировать учащихся в употреблении знакомых и новых лексических единиц по теме, грамматических структур во времени Present Simple, Past Simple, Present Perfect, пассивного залога, разговорных выражений в монологической и диалогической речи, развивать творческие способности, воспитывать интерес к изучению языка.
Лексический материал урока: Интеграция тем “Seasons” (“Времена года”), “Nature” (“Природа”), “Work in the Garden, Garden Equipment” (“Работа в огороде, инвентарь”), “Vegetables and fruits” (“Овощи и фрукты”), “Здоровье” (“Health”)

Ход урока
I. Warm-up.
Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. How are you?
Are you ready for a lesson? What is the date today? What day of the week is today? Who is absent from a lesson? Why is he (she) absent? So, at the lesson today we’ll speak about autumn. The subject is “In autumn ”.
What’s the weather like today? What is the temperature? What colour is the sky? Does the sun shine? The British people like talking about the weather. When and where do the British people talk about the weather? Any time, any place, because the weather is very changeable in Britain. We can’t imagine England without rain, smog, clouds, fire, hot tea. That’s why they are amateurs of tea. And Sakha people? They also like talking about it. Nature and weather are so important for us. Our life depends of it. And why else do people like talking about the weather? What do you think? I think that’s because it is the beginning of the talk. For example if I want to get somebody to talk I will start from the weather. Do you agree?
II. Autumn landscape.
I think each season has its own colour. For example winter is white (grey). Spring is green. Summer is bright (red, blue). Autumn is yellow (red, brown). Now look at the 10 graders drawings. Autumn landscape. What do you can say of it? We admire a beautiful landscape of autumn. You see different pictures. What’s the autumn like? (Autumn is good, bright, wonderful , colourful, leaves fall, yellow trees, beautiful season, autumn mood, birds fly to the warm countries, people gather berries, water is calm, different colours, birch, willow , pine , fir, larch …). What picture do you like most of all and why? What impressions and what mood do these pictures provoke?
- I like this picture. I would like name it “Lonely birch”, because it is alone on the field. It’s nice. It’s green. I don’t know why but it provokes melancholy mood.
(I agree sadness is also good. There is light sadness especially in autumn.)
- And I enjoy this picture, because it is bright, colourful. I see different colours . I see river, on the beach there are different trees. The colours are …. It is wonderful.
- I see a road. An old man goes to the forest to gather berries for his grandchildren. It is his home. The sun shines, but it is cool I think. The man has a jacket, a cap, boots.
- I see 6 ducks. They fly to the warm countries. It is the sky. It’s very interesting drawing. As though you lie and see the sky. The trees are yellow and the sky is blue…

Морковь: I am a carrot. I am rich in carrotin, vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, E, potassium, cobalt, ferum . I am useful in stomachache, anaemia, sclerosis, I am useful for teeth. Carrot juice helps children to grow. You must eat 1or 2 carrots every day.
Mалина: I am a raspberry. I am very sweet. I have vitamins C, R, carotin, sugar, colouring matter. Only I can be sweet and beautiful.
Лук: My name is onion. Onion kills bacteriums, vins illnesses, gives you energy.
Cвекла: Sugar beet has vitamin C, phosphorus and folium. Beet’s leaf has vitamin A. It helps our heart and blood.
Помидор: Botulu women likes to grow tomatoes. There are a lot of sorts of tomatoes. I have vitamins C, B1, K, provitamin A, sugar, organic acid, mineral salt. Only tomato can treat you for your deseases.
Картофель: I am a potato. People name potato the second bread. 1 kilogram of potato contains 800-900 calories. It gives us strengths and energy. There is a bad harvest of potato this year. My price will be very high I think.
Капуста: My name is cabbage. I have a lot of vitamins. I am very big and tasty.
Кабачок: I am a squash. I am so nice and delicious. Eat me and be strong and healthy.
Огурец: I contain few calories that’s why I help people to be fit, slender (thin, slim). I take water, salt out of your organism. I calm your nerves. People use me in cosmetics. I am a super vegetable.
Яблоко: Apple is red and round. Apple is sweet and nice. Children and grown-ups like me very much. I think I am a king of fruit. (Все начинают хвастаться)

I would like you to present your handmade articles. You have used different materials I see. And I would like you to name these materials of autumn. For example what’s this?
- It’s a nest of the bird. It’s made of moss, grass, berries, egg.
- The duck-made of moss, grass, stone, flower, berries, cotton wool.
- The doll- made of moss, rags, grass.
- Fruits- made of flour, water (dough) …etc.
VI. Shepherd’s Pie.
Дети угощают гостей блюдами из овощей и блюдом английской кухни “Пастуший пирог”.
Девочка в костюме повара рассказывает рецепт блюда:
Shepherd’s Pie. Ingredients: 4 to 6 medium potatoes, rinsed; 2 tbsp margarine or butter; 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk; freshly ground black pepper, 1 large onion, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 cup sliced fresh minced beef (shiitake mushrooms); 2 tbsp soy sauce; 1 cup organic tomato sauce; 1 fresh tomato.

Essay “Autumn”. You can give any title to your essay. Not only “Autumn”. You can describe your impressions, moods, days, activities, nature, weather or one day… etc.
