Цель: создать условия для осознания и
осмысления блока новой учебной информации по
теме “Personality”, ее применения в новой учебной
ситуации.
Технология: критическое мышление (шляпы
мышления, кластер, перекрестная
дискуссия, тонкие и толстые вопросы).
Задачи:
- Образовательные: развитие монологической речи учащихся с использованием новой лексики по теме «Who are you?», развитие лексическо-грамматических навыков для подготовки учащихся к ЕГЭ.
- Познавательные: развитие лингво-культурной компетенции, активизация лексики (describing character) и лексико-грамматических конструкций по теме.
- Воспитательные: создавать условия для формирования способности к критическому мышлению; воспитывать умение внимательно слушать и слышать, уважать другое мнение; формировать потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в группе.
- Развивающие: развитие способности к переключению уровней мышления (The Six Thinking Hats).
Оборудование урока: мультимедийная презентация урока, шляпы ( белая, черная, желтая, зеленая).
ХОД УРОКА
Epigraph:

I. Стадия вызова (Evocation). 5-7 min.
1. Teacher. Good morning, students. I hope you are fine today. I think
we can start, so let’s get down to work. Do the task, given on papers (Приложение 1, Презентация, слайд 1). Now
look at the picture and try to guess the topic of our lesson. (Презентация,
слайд 2)
2. Teacher: So you are right, we are going to talk about different
characters today, about who we are. We try to learn to describe different types of
character. “Six thinking hats “method will help us to discuss this problem from
different points of view. Let’s remember the method. (Презентация,

3. Teacher: Let us revise the words on the topic and make up clusters. To
do the task I’ll divide you into four groups. Each group finds the most exact adjectives
for describing a hat it will get. (Приложение 2,

6-10)
II. Стадия осмысления (Realization of meaning) 30-35 min.
1. Describing character on horoscopes ex.1 p.8 (student’s book, презентация слайд 11-14)
2. Describing character on handwriting ex. 2, 3. p.8. (student’s book)
3. Describing character on physiognomy (Приложение 3, Презентация, слайды 15-20)
4. Describing character on temperament (Приложение 4, Презентация, слайд 22)
5. How different hats act in the same situation. (Приложение 5, each group has the same situation but puts on the hat the teacher offers. In 5 minutes the first group presents the situation while the others try to guess: from the point of which hat the situation is given)
III. Стадия
рефлексии (Reflection) 5-7 min.
1. Teacher: So, it’s time to come to the conclusion. How to describe a character? Use papers 6 to help you. To systematize our knowledge on the topic make up a cluster. (Приложение 6, Презентация, слайд 23)
2. Teacher: Why is it important to put on different hats while solving any problem?
3. Teacher: Your homework will be: with the help of tips (Приложение 6) describe your best friend or any person you like. Put on a green hat! Be creative! (Презентация, слайд 24)
