Учебник: “Английский в фокусе” (авторы Н.И. Быкова, М.Д. Поспелова, В. Эванс, Дж. Дули).
Цель урока: обучение учащихся эффективной коммуникации посредством различных видов их деятельности, таких как ролевая игра, разучивание рифмовок с движениями, драматизация диалогов и полилогов, презентация проектов.
Задачи урока:
- научить учащихся говорить о животных и описывать их действия;
- научить учащихся различать употребление Present Simple, Present Continuous;
- развивать умения аудирования, чтения, говорения.
Оснащение урока:
- картинки с изображением различных животных;
- карточки с описанием различных животных;
- листы для рисования;
- аудиозапись (упр. 1 стр.58), (упр.3 стр.59);
- песочные часы;
- маркеры, клей, стикеры;
- стенд Parking lot (для рефлексии учащихся).
Ход урока
1. Прогнозирование темы.
T: What animals can you see in these pictures? Let’s name them.
P1,P2, etc.: a monkey, a lizard, a seal, a crocodile, a giraffe, a hippo, a dolphin, a whale.
T: Do you like them?
P:Yes, I do. (No, I don’t.)
T: What’s your favourite animal?
P1,P2 etc. :a seal, a dolphin etc.
T: What do you think, why I ask you these questions?
What’s the theme of our lesson today?
P1,P2,etc.:
- Animals.
- Mammals and reptiles.
- Funny animals.
T: Yes, you are all right. Today we’ll talk about funny animals ,what they usually do and what they are doing at the moment of speaking.
2. Актуализация ранее изученного материала. (ЛЕ по теме “Животные” и структура в Present Continuous Tense)
T: Children, open your textbooks at page 58, Ex.1.Listen to the recording, sing and do.
(Учебник “Spotlight” 4 класс. Учащиеся поют вместе с аудиозаписью, движениями изображая животных.)
T: Thank you; take your seats, please. Now, look at the blackboard. Here you can see active word-combinations from our song. Let’s revise them.
(Написать на доске выражения):
tall giraffe – eat from a tree
silly monkey – laugh at me
clever dolphin – swim in the sea
little seal – clap one, two, three
lazy lizard – sit in the sun
big whale – have lots of fun
baby hippo – learn how to run
one crocodile – cry on its own
Учащиеся читают, переводят выражения фронтально. Затем закрепляют данные выражения в устной речи, работая в парах с карточками, на которых изображены животные.
T: Children, show me your cards, please. Let’s s do Ex.2 p.58.Use the construction Rally Robin with your face partner.
A: Look at the giraffe!
B: Oh, yes! It’s eating from a tree.
B: Look at the monkey!
A: Oh, yes! It’s laughing at me.
A: Look at the dolphin!
B: Oh, yes! It’s swimming in the sea.
B: Look at the seal!
A: Oh, yes! It’s clapping one, two, three.
A: Look at the lizard!
B: Oh, yes! It’s sitting in the sun.
B: Look at the whale!
A: Oh, yes! It’s having lots of fun.
A: Look at the hippo!
B: Oh, yes! It’s learning how to run.
B: Look at the crocodile!
A: Oh, yes! It’s crying on its own!
(Учащиеся сидят за столами в командах по 4 человека. Одновременно работают все пары. Учитель спрашивает пару одной из команд.)
T: Now, Let’s do Ex. 3 at p.59. It’s your homework for today.
(Аудирование, пересказ домашнего задания по ролям в полилоге.)
Роли: Larry, Lulu, Uncle, Harry, Chuckles (хлопает в ладоши).
Одновременно работают все команды. Учитель спрашивает команду одного из столов:
3. Презентация нового материала. Усвоение новых знаний.
T: Children, look at the blackboard. Here you can see the sentences. Read them and translate. What’s the difference?
P: What are the seals doing? – They're clapping.
What do the seals always do at lunchtime? – They always clap at lunchtime.
Ученик сам выводит правило: в первом предложении действие происходит в момент речи, а во втором предложении действие происходит обычно всегда.
T: Today we compare two grammar tenses Present Simple, Present Continuous. Let’s read Grammar Reference Section. Page 168.
Учащиеся читают грамматический справочник и сравнивают употребление двух времён - Present Simple, Present Continuous.
4.Выполнение репродуктивных заданий.
T: Let’s do Ex. 1 at p.60. Use the construction Rally Robin with your shoulder partner. (P1 - P2; P4 - P3).
A: What are the monkeys doing?
B: They always have lunch at 1 o’ clock. Etc…
Одновременно работают все пары (партнёры по плечу). Учитель спрашивает пару одной из команд.
T: High five (сигнал тишины “Дай пять”.Учитель поднимает руку вверх. Ученики прекращают говорить). Let’s ask table №3.
5. Развитие навыков чтения и логического мышления.
T: Read and put the sentences in the right order. Use the construction Round Robin. По образцу задания Ex. 2 at p.60. командам необходимо расположить разрезанные предложения в нужном порядке и подчеркнуть предложения, касающиеся описания животных, в Present Simple и Present Continuous.

- I’m reading a book about seals.
- Really? Do you like seals?
- Oh, yes! I think they’re funny.
- Look at that picture – the seal is clapping.
- Of course! Seals always clap at lunchtime.
Table №2: - What are you doing?
- I’m reading a book about hippos.
- Really? Do you like hippos?
- Oh, yes! I think they’re great.
- Look at that picture – the hippo is having a bath.
- Of course! Hippos always have a bath in the afternoon.

- I’m reading a book about whales.
- Really? Do you like whales?
- Oh, yes! I think they’re great!
- Look at that picture – the whale is having fun.
- Of course! Whales always have fun in the sea.
Учитель заслушивает все команды. Учащиеся отвечают по кругу.
6. Контроль домашнего задания (проектные работы учащихся).
T: Let’s check up your homework! But first of all let’s revise the description of the animals. Use the construction Fan-And-Pick. (Учащиеся берут карточки из веера, по кругу читают описание животных и угадывают их. Например:
1. It s very long. It doesn t have any legs. It eats small animals. It can be very dangerous.
What is it?
2. It has a very long neck and four long legs.
What is it?
3. It is very big. It is grey. It has a very long nose.
What is it?
4. It has big ears. It has fingers and toes. It likes to swing from trees.
What is it?
5. It can swim in the water and walk on land. It has a very big mouth and big teeth.
What is it?
6. It can swim in the water and walk on land. It wears a shell.
What is it?
В веере должно быть более четырёх карточек, чтобы у последнего члена команды было право выбора. Одновременно работают все команды. После сигнала тишины High five учитель опрашивает одну из команд.
T:And now your projects. Use the construction Mix-Pair-Share and Timed-Pair-Share. (Ученики под музыку перемешиваются в классе. Затем по команде учителя находят пару. Ученикам отводится определенное время для пересказа проекта “My favourite animal”. Используется конструкции It has…, It doesn’t have…, It can…, It can’t…, It eats…)
Example:
P1: My favourite animal is a crocodile. It lives in Africa. It is big and green. It has got a long body, a long tail, a very big mouth and sharp teeth. It can swim in the water and walk on land. But it can’t crawl. A crocodile eats small animals.
P2: My favourite animal is a monkey. It lives in Africa. It is black and grey. It has got a small body, a long tail, and big eyes . It has fingers and toes. A monkey can climb, walk and run. But it can’t crawl or swim. A monkey eats fruit.
Каждому партнёру отводится одна минута. Используются песочные часы.
Учитель опрашивает 1-2 пары.
7. Рефлексия
T: Now, children, take sheets of paper and write down:
3 items that you’ve learned
2 items – you liked most of all
1 item – you disliked
Учащиеся анализируют урок и сами выставляют себе оценки. Листочки с мнениями учащихся прикрепляются к стенду Parking lot.
