Тип урока: урок повторения и обобщения.
Цель урока: формирование коммуникативной компетенции и уважительного отношения к иноязычной культуре; создание условий для развития познавательной сферы учащихся.
Задачи урока:
- Учебно-образовательные:
- развитие навыков монологический речи;
- поисковое чтение;
- расширение лексического запаса;
- развитие умения понимать иностранную речь и реагировать на нее;
- активизировать в речи лексический и грамматический запас;
- расширение знаний о стране изучаемого языка.
- Развивающие:
- развитие творческого мышления;
- расширение кругозора;
- развитие логического мышления;
- развитие памяти, смекалки, сообразительности.
- Воспитательные:
- развитие вежливости, культуры поведения, уважения к предмету, к стране изучаемого языка,
- развитие познавательного интереса у учащихся к культуре англоязычных стран.
Оборудование: компьютер, учебник (Spotlight – Английский в фокусе, учебник для 5х классов общеобразовательных учреждений), раздаточный материал, аудиозапись, тетради.
ХОД УРОКА
1. Организационный момент и приветствие
– Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you. Many guests come to our lesson
today. Let’s start.
– Who is absent today? (Today … is absent or all are present today).
– What date is it today? (Today is … of March).
– What day is it today? (Today is …).
– What the weather like today? (Today the weather is …).
– How are you, Daniil? And you, Nikita? (I’m fine, thank you).
2. Сообщение целей и задач урока
– Today we are discussing the topic “Travelling. Visiting London”. By the way, what language do we study? – (We study English).
– Do you want to visit English-speaking countries? (Yes, of course).
– Today we’ll visit London and speak about some place of interest of London – the
capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The aim of our lesson
is to get some knowledge about London.

7. Аудирование (стр. 81 упр. 1)
– Today we forget to say about one of the most famous landmark in London – Big Ben.
Think of three questions about Big Ben. – (1….; 2…..; 3…..)
Listen some information about it. While you are listening, please, filling the gaps in
your cards. Don’t forget to write your name. (Слушаютзапись – track

Exchange your cards and check the answers, they are on the screen. Can you now answer your

your books at page 81. I want you to do some exercises. As you see there’s the text
about Big Ben.

To have some rest let’s play one game. I’ll give you cards with the names of London’s places of interest, but the second parts of this names are lost. Find them, please. To be successful in our work we are going to revise grammar, I mean the Present Simple Tense.
– To begin with, let’s remember the forms of this tense.
