Тип урока: повторительно-обобщающий

Цель: Обобщить лексический и грамматический материал по теме “Мой дом”.

Задачи:

  • обучающие: совершенствование лексических и грамматических навыков, навыков чтения и аудирования.
  • развивающие: развитие языковой догадки, развитие творческих способностей, умения работать в паре.
  • воспитательная: воспитание интереса к изучению иностранного языка через сравнивание культур.

Оборудование:

1. Учебник английского языка для 6 класса “Enjoy English 5-6” М.З. Биболетова.

2. Мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, экран.

3. Презентация.

4. Карточки с грамматическими заданиями.

1. Приветствие, организационный момент, целеполагание

T. Good morning! The bell has gone and it means that it’s time to start our lesson. First of all, tell me please how do you feel yourselves? Who is on duty today? What date is it today? What day is it today? What do you think about today’s weather? Is everybody present? Who is absent?

T. Well, this lesson we reach the finish line of studying the topic “My house”. Soon you’ll have a test paper. What we should do to have good results?

Ps. We should do different exercises, revise the material of this topic, learn some useful words.

2. Речевая зарядка

T. You’re absolutely right. Today we’ll try to do our best in revising and learning the material.

Tell me please, (a name of a pupil), what part of Berezniki do you live?

What kind of a house do you live in?

Could you please describe your house?

How many rooms are in your house?

Which do you like most of all? Why? Now, ask somebody else about his or her house. (ученик задает эти же вопросы кому-нибудь из класса)

3. Повторение лексики

T. Good of you! Right now we should match the pictures and their meanings. Look at the screen. What kind of a house is this one? What about the right picture? The third one? And the last one? (слайд2)

Ps. .....

T. Yes, you’re right! Now tell me please what is this house? Is it a detached house or is it a block of flats? (слайд3)

Ps. .....

T. Good of you, it’s a detached house. Let’s enter the house and know who is the owner of this marvelous building?!

4. Повторение и закрепление структур There is/ are

T. Now my friends name all things that Mr. Housekeeper has and doesn’t have in his hall.

Ps. .......

T. Well done! I should say you have a very good memory!

T. Mr. Housekeeper said two interesting words “a home” and “a house”. Don’t they have the same meaning? Who explains the meaning of these words?

Ps. No, a home is a building that is made for people to live in and a house is the place where you live or where you feel that you belong

5. Закрепление лексического материала, работа с карточками.

T. Again you’re right! But to be sure that you understand the meanings of these two words I want you to do this task. Fill in “home” or “house”.

2. Berezniki is my ____ town. (home)

3. I’m Russian, but now I live in Britain and I missed ____ very much. (home)

4. Mr. Housekeeper’s ____ is new and nice. (house)

6. Развитие навыков аудирования и языковой догадки.

T. (работа с карточками) And the next task is the following. One of the partners will describe the picture (описание дано на карточке) and the other will draw it. Then we’ll compare the picture with the drawing. Now, decide who will start, please. One of you  will read sentences with the construction “there is/are” and prepositions. Then you’ll switch places.

(a living room) There are two windows in the room. There is a fireplace between them. A TV is above the fireplace. Also there is a carpet on the floor. A table is in front of the fireplace, a sofa is in front of the table. There are two armchairs on the right hand side of the table and the sofa. There is a mirror on the wall between them. Under the mirror there is a flower. There is one more flower on the left hand side of the left window. Near this flower there is one more armchair.

(a basement) There are downstairs in the right corner of the picture. Near the downstairs there are two pictures on the wall. There is a wolf rag on the floor. There is a rack on the right hand side of this rag. There is a cot near the rack. Also there are lots of boxes on the left hand side of the rag. On the left hand side of the left picture there is a chest of drawers. There is a big box on the chest of drawers. Most of all there is a light bulb above the wolf rag.

Now, you please to compare your masterpieces and the original pictures. Check your results. (слайды 6-7)

7. Физкультминутка

T. Let’s have a rest! Stand up and try to repeat all my actions. To understand what we should do you can take a peek at the screen. (слайд 9)

8. Развитие навыков языковой догадки

T. The next task is the following. You should put the letters in order to make the words. Then you should match these words with the things in the bathroom.

  4. werash - washer (5)
  5. pat – tap (4)
  6. lowet - towel (6)

9. Развитие навыков говорения

T. And the last task for today. Recall the information about Mr. Houskeeper’s house (просмотр слайдов 4, 6, 7, 10–12) and compare it with what you have. Fill the table and then tell us whether you have the same answers or not. (слайд 13)

T. Good for you! You are very attentive children! You have brilliantly coped with my tasks.

T. Your home task is to make up the story about your house
