Цели урока.
Образовательные:
- Отработать лексику по теме “Глаголы действия”, “одежда”, “цвета”.
- Активизировать употребление глаголов в структурах must /mustn’t do саn/ can’t do.
- Совершенствование навыков говорения, чтения и аудирования.
Воспитательная: содействовать формированию коммуникативных навыков и развитию активности на уроке.
Развивающая:
1. Содействовать развитию речевой активности, образного мышления, познавательного интереса.
2. Расширение знаний учащихся о культурных традициях страны изучаемого языка.

Ход урока
Teacher: Dear boys and girls! Glad to see you! At today’s lesson we will travel in time to Scotland, so we called it “Travelling in time”. (Слайд 1. Презентация)
We know some English poems. First poem is about a super cat. Let’s read. And the second is about Jilly and Dorris. Begin/, please. 1, 2, 3, …. (Читают по очереди стихи хором – на медиа-подсказка). (Слайды 2, 3)
- Today we are going to travel in time. We will meet Masha and Robin. We will learn about Scotland and the secret of the Stone of Destiny. (Стук в дверь)
Teacher: Come in, please.
Входит почтальон. Goodmorning.
Teacher: Goodmorning, postman.
Postman: I have a telegramme for Masha. It is from Robin MacWizard.
- I am Masha. Robin is my pen friend. Read telegramme, please.
Postman: Meet me at the airport at 11 a.m. today. My kilt is red, black and white. Thank you. Robin MacWizard.
Masha: Thank you, postman.
Teacher: But where is Scotland ? Tell us about Scotland. (Слайды 4, 5)
P1: Scotland is in the north of British islands.
P2: It is not a big country. Its capital is Edinburgh.
P3: It has blue lakes and green forests.
Masha: And what is kilt? (Слайд 6)
P4: I know Scottish men wear kilts. Kilt is a skirt . It is made of tartan. Every family has its own colour of kilt.
Teacher: Kilt is a skirt. You know the names of clothes. Let’s find them. Raise your hands. Who is the first? (Находят слова)
- Now children, look, Masha is at the airport. She meets Robin. They are talking. Listen what secret has Robin. (Слайд 7)
- Нello, my name is Masha. I’m from Yakutia. I am ten. I meet my pen friend. His name is Robin. Robin is from Scotland.
- Hi ! I’m Robin MacWizard. I am from Scotland. I live in Edinburgh. But I am not your pen friend. I am from the past.
Sorry, I must go. I must find my pen friend Robin.
You mustn’t go. You must listen to me. I must tell you a secret. I am from the past, the year 1599. Your friend is there. I must find the Stone of Destiny. It is in London. And your friend will come back.
Sorry, but London is very far. We are in Russia, Yakutia. (Слайд 8)
Robin: Tell me about Yakutia, please.
P1: Yakutia is a large country in Russia. Its capital is Yakutsk.
P2: Yakut men wear yellow or green shirts and trousers.
P3: Yakut women wear beautiful dresses and bastyna. Its colours are white, yellow, blue and green.
Robin: Your country is very far from London. Masha, help me please. I must be in London and bring back the Stone of Destiny. It is my mission.
Masha: I will help you, Robin.
Teacher: The Stone of Destiny это камень судьбы. Я хочу рассказать вам историю этого таинственного камня. По преданию камень судьбы был привезен из Святой земли более четырёх тысяч лет тому назад. На протяжении веков шотландские короли короновались сидя на этом Камне. Но в 18 веке английский король Эдуард 1 похитил его, надеясь что Шотландия утратит независимость. Он привез камень в Лондон в Вестминстерское аббатство и поместил под королевский трон. С тех пор все короли Англии сидят на этом троне. Шотландцы много лет пытались вернуть Камень судьбы. Робин хочет вернуть его Шотландии. (Слайды 9, 10)
Teacher: Now we will read a story about the Stone of Destiny and do a test. (Читают по очереди текст)
- The Stone of Destiny is in England. It is in Westminster Abbey in London. It is a magic stone. Robin MacWizard is from Scotland. He is from the past. Robin must find it and bring it back to Scotland. With this stone Scotland can be strong and free. It is Robin’s mission here. Robin can travel in time. He can fly and speak English. But he can’t play computer games.
