Задачи урока:

  • развивать умения и навыки устной речи:
    • учить понимать на слух основное содержание небольшого текста;
    • учить рассказывать о себе, своих любимых занятиях и любимом празднике
    • (с опорой на план);
    • учить вести диалог, используя знакомый языковой материал;
  • обобщить знания учащихся по теме  “Притяжательный падеж имён существительных“ и лексики по теме ”Праздники”.

Оборудование: игрушки, карточки с заданиями, мяч, праздничные открытки, мультимедийный проектор и экран.

ХОД УРОКА

1. Организационный момент. Сообщение цели урока. Речевая зарядка

Учитель: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Today we`ll speak about your favourite holidays. We are going to revise everything that we learned. Cлайд 2.
We`ve got something on the blackboard. Please, look at the blackboard. What can you see there?

Ученик: We can see postcards.

Учитель: What holiday is the first postcard for?

Ученик: The first postcard is for New Year`s Day.

Учитель: When is New Year`s Day?

Ученик: New Year`s Day is on the first of January.

Учитель: What holiday is the second postcard for?

Ученик: The second postcard is for St Valentine`s Day.

Учитель: When is St Valentine`s Day?

Ученик: St Valentine`s Day is on the 14th of February.

Учитель: What holiday is the third postcard for?

Ученик: The third postcard is for Mother`s Day.

Учитель: When is Mother`s Day?

Ученик: Mother`s Day is on the 8th of March.

Учитель: What holiday is the fourth postcard for?

Ученик: The fourth postcard is for Christmas.

Учитель: When is Christmas in Russia?

Ученик: Christmas in Russia is on the 7th of January.

Учитель: When is Christmas in Great Britain?

Ученик: Christmas in Great Britain is on the 25th of December.

Учитель: What is the fifth postcard for?

Ученик: The fifth postcard is for birthday.

Учитель: When is your birthday?

Ученик: My birthday is on the _____of________.

Учитель: Do you like your birthday?

Ученик: Yes, I do.

Учитель: And so does Andrew. Do you remember Andrew? What do you know about this boy?

Ученик: His surname is Ladd. He lives in London. He has got a lot of friends.

2. Развитие навыка аудирования

Учитель: By the way, what date is it today?

Ученик: Today is the 17th of March.

Учитель: That`s right. And today is the special day for Andrew. Today is his birthday. Listen to the conversation between Andrew and his parents and say what present Andrew has got.

Учитель: What present has Andrew got?

Ученик: Andrew has got a player.

Учитель: Does Andrew like his present?

Ученик: Yes, he does.

3.Активизация лексики по теме “Holidays”

Учитель: You`ve said that you like your birthday. But why do you like it?

(На доске – слово “BIRTHDAY”. Учитель составляет «спайдерграмму», используя ответы учеников.) Слайд 3

Учитель:

– When is your birthday?
– What presents do you usually get?
– What present would you like to have?
– What do you usually do at the birthday party?
– What do you usually have for your birthday dinner?
– Who usually comes to see you on that day?

4. Динамическая пауза

Учитель: You`ve said that you sing songs at the party.
– What song do Russian boys and girls sing at the birthday party?

Ученик: They sing “Пусть бегут неуклюже…”

Учитель: What can you say about British boys and girls? What song do they sing?

Ученик: They sing “Happy Birthday to you”.

Учитель: Do you remember it? Can you sing it? Let`s sing “Happy Birthday to You” together.

(Ученики поют песню) Слайд 4

5. Активизация употребления притяжательного падежа существительных

Учитель: Thank you for your song, children. Now look at the desk. There are a lot of different things on it. I know that they are your favourite things because they are your birthday presents. Let`s see whose presents they are. Listen to each other attentively and try to remember who each present belongs to.

Учитель: Whose dog is it?

Ученик: It`s my dog.

Учитель: It`s Dasha`s dog. Whose CD is it?

Ученик: It`s me CD.

(Таким же образом ученик расспрашивает о других подарках, принесенных детьми.)

Учитель: You have got cards with exercises on your desks. Please match the names of your classmates and their presents. Слайд 5,6

(Ученики выполняют задание на карточке: Dasha`s dog, Sergey`s CD… –

6. Активизация употребления порядковых числительных

Учитель: I think that you play different games at the birthday party. Let`s play a game now. I`ll toss the ball and say a numeral. You`ll catch the ball and say the ordinal numeral. Слайд 7

Twenty-one – the twenty-first

7. Развитие навыка диалогической речи

Учитель: I see that you like playing games very much. And I know that Andrew and his friends also like games. Look at the pictures.Слайд 8.
– Do you remember the names of the pupils of Green School?

Ученик: Their names are Bess and Jack.

Учитель: Imagine that they are at the birthday party now. They want to play. Act out the conversation between Bess and Jack.

(Ученики разыгрывают диалог с игрушечными персонажами)

Примерный диалог:

Jack: Would you like to play puzzles?
Bess: No, thank you. I don`t like puzzles.
Jack: Do you like to play computer games?
Bess: Of course. I like to play computer games. Have you got a new computer game?
Jack: Yes, I have.
Bess: It`s great. Let`s play, then.
Jack: OK. Let`s.

8. Развитие навыка чтения

Учитель: If you want to know more about Andrew`s birthday you can read the text. Read the text and fill in the gaps.

Вставь пропущенные слова и словосочетания:

 a lot of presents, cake, March, see, computer games, sing songs

           Andrew`s birthday is on the 17th of ____________. He likes his birthday. Bess, Jack and Martin come to__________ him. Andrew has got _______________ for his birthday. Bess likes to play_______________________.
Jack and Martin like to________________. They are happy.

9. Развитие навыка монологической речи

Учитель: So, we`ve read the text about Andrew`s birthday. Now I`d like to know how you usually spend your birthday.  Please, look at the spidergram and tell us about the most favourite day of the year. I mean your birthday. Слайд 3.

Ученик (примерный рассказ): My name is Lena. My birthday is on the tenth of May. I like this holiday because I get a lot of presents: books, sweets, computer games, toys. My friends and relatives come to see me. We have a lot of fun at the birthday party: we sing songs, dance, play different games. We have a lot of tasty things at the birthday dinner: meat, fish, sweets, fruit, tea, juice. This is my favourite holiday.

Учитель: Thank you for your story.

9. Подведение итогов урока. Домашнее задание

Учитель: Dear children, you had a very good time at the lesson. You have done a lot of tasks. You know everything about holiday. I like your answers. And now write down the task for the next lesson. Write about your birthday. That`s all for today. Goodbye.
