Rudolf: Good Evening, dear children and guests! We are happy to see you today! Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m a reindeer. My name’s Rudolf…
Песня “Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose” (Приложение 1)
Rudolf: You know, we’re going to celebrate Christmas tonight.
This is the season
When mornings are dark
And the birds do not sing
In the wood and the park.
This is the season
When children ski
And Santa Claus
Brings the Christmas Tree.
Gnome 1:
The windows are blue at night
But in the morning they are white,
And the snowflakes are falling
“Come out”, they are calling!
Gnome 2:
See the pretty snowflakes,
Falling from the sky;
On the wall and the house-tops,
Soft and thick they lie.
Gnome 3:
On the window- ledges,
On the branches bare
See how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.
Gnome 4:
Look into the garden
Where the grass was green;
Covered with the snowflakes,
Not a leaf is seen.
Gnome 5:
Now the bare black bushes
All look soft and white;
See the snowflakes falling
What a pretty sight!
Rudolf: Christmas is a magic time you know, but where’s Santa Claus?
Gnome 1: He might have lost his way.
Gnome 2 (смотрит в окошко): Look! A strong wind is blowing!
Gnome 3 (смотрит в окошко): Oh! There’s a snowstorm outside!
Gnome 4 and Gnome 5: It must be the Snow Queen!
Rudolf (смотритвокошко): Or it may be the wicked magician with his evil mirror… Let me see…
Сцена 2: занавес закрыт
Музыка: звучит «буря», появляется Злой волшебник и Снежная Королева
The Wicked Magician (держитврукахволшебноезеркало): Your Majesty, the climate has become milder…
The Snow Queen: I hate it!
The Wicked Magician: And the winters have become so warm…
The Snow Queen: It’s terrible!
The Wicked Magician: I think some magic might correct the situation.
The Snow Queen: What’ s with your magic mirror? Can we use it?
The Wicked Magician: That’s just what I was thinking of!
Разбивает зеркало на мелкие кусочки (слышны звуки разбивающегося стекла), уходят, одновременно открывается занавес и начинает звучать музыка
Сцена 3
Декорации: занавес открыт, камин, окошко с узорами,
Герда и Кай сидят по обе стороны от спящей бабушки, поют песню
Песня «Jack & Jill” – отрывок из детского английского стишка, положенный на простой мотив (Приложение 1)
Gerda: Winter has come…
Kay: That’s the most marvelous news I’ve heard today. I hate
summer! (В этот момент в окошко глядит Снежная
королева, тихонько заходит в дом и роняет осколок
зеркала на Кая)
Oh! Something has pricked me. Here (указывает на глаза) and here (указывает
на сердце). Nothing serious (небрежномашетрукой).
Granny (проснулась): When it snows like this people say the Snow Queen is coming to look around her kingdom.
Gerda: She must be very beautiful. But I wouldn’t like to see her. She is so cold. I’m afraid of her.
Kay: You’re a little silly girl. You can’t appreciate her beauty. Look, I’ll open the window and look out. I’m not afraid of the Snow Queen. (После того, как выглянул на улицу, Кай выглядит изменившимся) Such wonderful weather we are having today and it’s so ugly at home. I’d rather go for a walk!
Granny: Is there still something in your eye, Kay?
Kay: There is something like a piece of glass, but it doesn’t disturb me. I even enjoy it.
Gerda: But it’s awful to have something in your heart. Can I help you get rid of it?
(Kaй смеется и убегает).
Granny: People say it is a piece of the Snow Queen’s mirror. It turns into a piece of ice and makes a person heartless. Kay can’t live with us anymore.
Gerda: Why, granny?
Granny: Because the Snow Queen has taken him.
Gerda: Oh, but I must save Kay. I am going to try my best. Good bye, granny.
Бабушка протягивает безнадежно руки к Герде, начинает звучать музыка, занавес закрывается, Герда остается и поет песню; вместе с закрытием занавеса выходят гномы и поют песню вместе с Гердой.
Песня: «I’m go оn a find my brother» (текст песни придуман авторами, положен на мелодию песни из учебника EnglishTogether – Приложение 1). Под конец песни занавес открывают, стоят волшебница и эльфы.
Сцена 4: Gerda, а Fairy, elves
Декорации: розовый куст
Fairy: Who are you, my dear? What are you doing here in my magic garden? – It’s the only place where spring lasts all year round.
Gerda: I’m looking for my brother Kay. The Snow Queen has taken him. I’m here to take my brother home. What shall I do?
Fairy: The Snow Queen? You are wrong, my dear. The Snow Queen has never visited my magic garden.
Gerda: But could you help me find Kay?
Fairy: The only thing I could do for you is to give you my small star. It will make you brave and your kind heart will help you find Kay. Goodbye!
Gerda (махая рукой): Goodbye!
Выходят эльфы, становятся по обе стороны от
Герды.
Песня: “Twinkle-twinklelittlestar…”(Приложение
1) – под конец песни уходят и занавес
открывается.
Cцена 5: Герда, Ворон-муж, Ворон-жена, Принц, Принцесса
Декорации: занавес открыт, изображение замка, Герда спит.
Raven-husband: Why are you sleeping here? Little girls should sleep in their beds, like our princess.
Gerda: And who is your princess?
Raven-husband: Look at the hill over there. You can see a palace. The princess and prince live there. Would you like you meet them?
Gerda: I’d love to! But I’m looking for a boy with blue eyes and fair hair. His name is Kay.
Raven-husband: There is some boy in the palace, who looks like this. He is our prince. He is so handsome that our princess fell in love with him. May be it’s your Kay. Let’s go and see if you want to know.
Gerda: I want to… But I’m so hungry!
Raven-husband: Have you got anything to eat today?
Gerda: Nothing, sir. But it doesn’t matter. I must see your prince.
Появляется Raven-wife с корзиной, полной еды.
Raven-wife: What a nice little girl! Your eyes are blue and you’ve got such beautiful fair hair…
Raven-husband: Stop talking! Look, she is very hungry. Have you got anything in your basket for her to eat?
Raven-wife: Oh, dear! I’ve just been to the baker’s and bought these… Let me see (достаетбулочки)… these wonderful hot cross buns. here you are.
Gerda: Oh, thank you.
Raven-wife: Look! Here are our prince and our princess.
Выходят принц с принцессой, разговаривают, принц – спиной к Герде.
Gerda: Excuse me…can I ask you… Kay, do you remember me? I’m Gerda.
Prince: Who has said these strange words? (Поворачивается к Герде) Surprise… surprise! Who are you?
Princess: Who brought that little girl into the garden?
Gerda: It’s my fault, princess. Your raven wanted to help me but he couldn’t. Nobody can help me! (плачет) I’m looking for my brother Kay. The Snow Queen has taken him.
Prince: It’s a pity, but I’m not your brother, poor dear. How can we help you?
Gerda: Can you tell me the way to The Snow Queen’s palace?
Raven-wife: Birds told me about the place where she lives.
Raven-husband: It’s a desert of ice and nobody can stay there long.
Princess: So we’ll give you a nice fur coat with pockets full of gold. You’ll get a fur cap, a pair of boots and warm mittens. And you won’t be cold when you visit Snow Queen.
All: Goodbye!
Raven-husband: Good bye, Gerda!
Raven-wife: Take care of yourself! The Snow Queen is very wicked!
Песня : “I’m gonna find my brother…”(Приложение 1). В течение песни закрывается занавес, герои под конец песни уходят.
Сцена 6: Герда, Разбойница-мать, маленькая разбойница, 4 разбойникаДекорации: куст
Выходят разбойники по одному и и говорят каждый по фразе:
Gangster 1: People say that we are awful
Gangster 2: But in fact it is not true,
Gangster 3: Give us lots of gold and diamonds
Gangster 4: We’ll be happy and [ а‘dju ]
Мать и маленькая разбойница отходят в сторону, остаются 4 разбойника.
Gangster 1:
I’m the strongest gangster!
Can you see my fists?
Don’t try to hit me,
Or I’ll give you this! (показывает как дерется)
Gangster 2:
I’m a robber
My name is Ralf
You see,
I’ve got the biggest knife.
Gangster 3:
Don’t be silly,
Your knife is almost nothing
Look at my dagger,
It’s going to start fighting!
Gangster 4:
Hey, both of you,
Take away your toys.
I’ve got this modern gun
It makes a lot of noise! (стреляет из пистолета)
Песня: “There was an old woman who lived in a shoe …” (Приложение 1). Поют все разбойники.
Mother Gangster: Sh-sh… Someone’s coming! (Все прячутся в кустах)
Выходит Герда в шубке, варежках, в сапогах с мешочком золота. Из кустов выскакивает Старая разбойница и маленькая разбойница, остальные разбойники.
Mother Gangster (преграждая путь ножом): Stop! Hands up, hands down, hands on your hips. Such a pretty fur coat. (Разбойники смеются, снимают постепенно с нее варежки и сапожки и уходят, деля добычу и посмеиваясь. Старая разбойница снимает с Герды шубку). I’ve always wanted to have something like this (Одевая на себя шубку) Let me see your pockets.
Gerda: Please, no!
Mother Gangster (вынимая золотые монеты из карманов): They are full of gold! (Обращаясь к дочке) Daughter! Is there anything you’d like to have?
Daughter Gangster: I hate gold! I hate fur coats! I’ll take this girl to play with her (хватает за руку Герду и притягивает к себе, обращаясь к Герде) You should tell me stories all day long. If you cry I’ll kill you with my big knife. (Показывает свой нож)
Gerda: You may kill me right away but I can’t stay with you. The Snow Queen has taken my brother Kay to her palace and I must find and save him! Otherwise, he’ll die!
Mother Gangster: This is the kingdom of the Snow Queen, so speak quietly. (Говорит тише) She is a great magician. If she gets angry with us, she’ll bring a snowstorm and we’ll catch a cold.
Daughter Gangster: I want to play with you, little girl and I can’t let you go! But I can’t let your brother die. So, what shall I do?
Gerda: Let me go, please!
Mother Gangster: Nobody can fight the Snow queen. She is so powerful! But you’re so brave that nobody can stop you. Be on your way!
Daughter Gangster: Farewell!
Звучит мелодия из песни «I’dliketofindmybrother” (Герда уходит, занавес закрывается)
Сцена 7: Кай, Герда, Снежная Королева
Декорации: дворец Снежной королевы, трон
Кай играет с кусочками цветного стекла
(замена льдинкам)

The Snow Queen: Would you like more ice cream?
Kay: No, I don’t want any.
The Snow Queen: Would you like new skates? or skis?
Kay: No, I don’t want them.
The Snow Queen: Maybe you prefer watching the magic mirror?
Kay: No, I don’t want anything. I can’t be happy any more. Nothing gives me pleasure.
The Snow Queen: Maybe we… (видит входящую Герду) Who let you in?
Gerda: Shall I say “Good day” to you, ma’am? Our granny taught us to be polite. Have you forgotten our granny, Kay?
The Snow Queen: This is the world of polar nights and nobody wishes anyone “Good day”.
Gerda: As you like. I’m not going to stay here any longer. I’ve come here to bring back my brother Kay.
Kay: What have you said about me, girl?
Gerda: I’m not a girl. I’m Gerda, your sister. I’ve been looking for you everywhere. Kay, dear, what are you doing here?
The Snow Queen: He enjoys the beauty of this country. And you must go back!
Gerda: Just let me touch him. Oh, Kay! Remember the blue sky and the bright sun. There are flowers in our house. Don’t you miss them? Take this little star.
Kay (хватается за сердце): Oh! (трет глаза, оглядывается по сторонам удивленно) Gerda! My dear sister! I’ve been sleeping. I miss flowers and the bright sun. I want to go home!
The Snow Queen: Stop! You’ll be a prince! You’ll get an ice palace and skates and skis and a magic mirror!
Kay: I don’t like it! I’m going home. How cold the wind is! Hug me once more, Gerda. I’ll get warm.
Песня: “Jinglebells”(Приложение
1)
Звучит музыка-вступление к песне “Jingle,
bells”, дворец Снежной королевы рушится, снежная
королева тает.
Выходят все герои сказки, поют песню“Jingle,
bells”
Под конец песни вперед выходят гномы, Рудольф,
Герда и Кай.
Rudolf: Thank you, dear Gerda. You were so brave. We got rid of Snow queen! Now Santa Claus is on his way to our party. We are waiting for him, aren’t we my dears?
Gnomes: Yes, we are!
Песня: “Must be Santa” – поют все, под конец песни выходит Санта Клаус:
Santa Claus: Here I am! Good evening, everybody! Merry Christmas! – раздает подарки, в это время все поют песню «We wish you a merry Christmas!”
Песня: “We wish you a merry Christmas!» (Приложение 1)
