Цель: обобщить знания учащихся по теме «Внешность. Одежда. Характер».

Задачи:

  1. Проверить знание лексики по теме.
  2. Активизировать употребление структур с have\has got.
  3. Совершенствовать навыки в устной речи, чтении и аудировании.
  4. Развивать догадку, воспитывать уважительное отношение друг к другу, старшим и животным.

Оборудование:

  • грамматическая таблица «Глагол to have»;
  • проекты учащихся, раздаточный материал;
  • учебник «Английский язык» 6 класс Кузовлев В.П. и др.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning, dear children! I`m glad to see you at our lesson. How are you? What date is it today? Today we are going to make an enjoyable trip to check our knowledge of English. We`re going by train and visiting the following stations:

  1. Phonetic.
  2. Lexical.
  3. Grammatical.
  4. Physical activity.
  5. Project.
  6. Logical.
  7. Homework.

Teacher: Let`s start our trip!

II. Phonetic station.

Warming-up.

1) Reading rules:

  • ea, ee – sea, tea, tree, street;
  • our, oor – four, door, floor;
  • or – corn, horse, fork;
  • ar – park, car, smart;
  • ir, er – shirt, skirt, her;
  • oo – boots, cool, look.

2) Name consonants in the words: gossip, honest, handsome, beautiful, uniform, trainers.

3) Continue «one by one»:

  1. I`ve got a blue blouse on. And you?
  2. I`ve got curly black hair. And you?
  3. I`m helpful. And you?
  4. I like feeding rabbits. And you?

III. Lexical station.

1) Listen to the poem:

Dogs are clever
Dogs forget
Dogs are friendly
When they are
But ...

Dogs are funny
Dogs defend
Dogs are often
Your best friend

2) Name the characteristics of dogs:

Ps: clever, friendly, funny.

3) Continue:

Cats are ...   Monkeys are ...
Giraffes are ...   Lions are ...
Boys are ...   Girls are ...

4) Guess the characteristics:

Example: I am sociable.

  1. Если не охота вдруг убирать утром кровать
    Не охота идти в школу и родителям помогать. (I am lazy.)
  2. Если любишь ты дружить
    В гости к друзьям ходить. (I am friendly.)
  3. Если говоришь ты всем «Доброе утро, вечер, день»
    Уступаешь старшим место, взрослым открываешь дверь. (I am polite.)
  4. Если любишь ты приказы раздавать
    Хочешь командиром быть, в подчиненье всех держать. (I am bossy.)
  5. Если учишься ты только на четыре и на пять
    Знаний разных в школе тебе не занимать. (I am clever.)
  6. Если не боишься ты ничего на свете
    Что скажут о тебе взрослые и дети. (I am brave.)

5) Divide the words into three groups: «Appearance», «Clothes», «Character».

Brave, a blouse, funny, curly, jeans, plump, trousers, smart, honest, a cap, bossy, turned-up, a T-shirt, a top, slim, polite.

6) Name the different word:

  1. Careful, helpful, careless, beautiful.
  2. Nose, dark, curly, long.
  3. To bully, to tell the truth, to tease, to call names.
  4. A blouse, a top, a T-shirt, a skirt.
  5. Sociable, talkative, boastful, brave.
  6. Jeans, shoes, shorts, dress.
  7. Blue, comfortable, green, grey.
  8. Cool, super, awful, smart.

IV. Grammatical station.

Pupil 1:

I have got a mother
You have got a father
He has got a sister
She has got a brother/

Teacher: Let`s remember the using of have\has got.

Pupil 2:

Братцы have и has родня
Очень дружная семья
Если знаем их – сумеем
Рассказать мы, что имеем.
Очень важно всем нам знать
Когда have и has сказать.
Это требует уменья
Вспомнить все местоимения
Семь коротких, важных слов.
Повторить ты их готов?
I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
Братец have у нас трудяга
Просто-напросто бедняга,
Он работает вовсю,
Встал он с «I» и встал он с «you».
Посмотри-ка поскорей,
Have теперь и с «we» и с «they».
Братец has еще малыш,
Но такой уже крепыш,
Свое дело твердо знает:
Он работу выполняет –
Слово has у нас стоит
Со словами he, she, it.

Teacher: Make up sentences with «have», «has».

Pupil 1: My sister has got a brown dress on. It`s smart.

Pupil 2: We have got three little kittens. They are black and white.

Open the brackets:

  1. You (to have) dark blue jeans on.
  2. Tom and I (to have) short fair hair.
  3. My sister (to have) turned-up nose and brown eyes.
  4. Tanya (to have) smart green blouse on.

V. Physical activities.

VI. Project.

Учащиеся представляют проекты, которые они приготовили дома «Animals I like», «People I like», «My favourite character».

VII. Logical station.

1) Describe the person and his character, using the information from this cards:

Card 1
Phil always says »Good morning! How are you?» He is a class president. He likes to give orders. His favourite subjects are history and maths. He takes care of his classmates and friends. He likes to watch TV.
Card 2
Nick doesn`t like to go to school. He likes to play football with his friends. Also he likes jokes and interesting stories. He defends girls and doesn`t afraid of anything.
Card 3
Tom likes to chat over the telephone. He has got a lot of friends. He likes English, maths, literature and Russian. He studies well. He has got excellent marks. He helps his father and mother about the house.
Card 4
Ann is 14. She likes to chat with her friends and to dance at the disco. She is interested in many things. Ann is good at music and arts. She likes to sleep and listen to music. Ann never cleans her room. Her mother does it.
Card 5
Sam likes to travel. He always travels on a bicycle. It is his favourite transport. He likes to be along and he has not got any friends. But he likes animals and takes care of them. Sam always tells the truth and never call names.
