Цель урока: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции (обобщение и систематизация знаний обучающихся по теме «Досуг».)
Задачи урока:
- Образовательные:
- углубление и расширение знаний обучающихся по теме «Досуг», применение и изменение полученных знаний в практической деятельности;
- активизация лексического материала по теме «Досуг»;
- закрепление грамматических навыков (keen on/ fond of/ interested in);
- формирование умения воспринимать на слух и понимать краткие сообщения.
- Развивающие:
- развитие познавательного интереса у обучающихся, умения обобщать, анализировать полученную информацию, сравнивать;
- развитие памяти, речи, логического мышления;
- выполнение заданий творческого характера, требующих от обучающихся системного, исследовательского, нетрадиционного подхода к их решению.
- Воспитательные:
- формирование лингвистической, тематической, социокультурной компетенции;
- воспитание культуры общения учащихся средствами иностранного языка.

На экране слайд, где представлено письмо, после чтения которого идет его обсуждение и обучающиеся должны определить тему урока.
Teacher: Today I have received a message from my friend Nick. He is too upset .He is waiting for his friends and he doesn't know what to do. He asks my advice. Can you help me to give the advice? (Приложение 1)
На экране слайд 4. Обучающиеся записывают занятия, проводимые в свободное время.
Pupil:

Pupil: We will speak about free time activities.
Teacher: Today at the lesson we are going to speak about our free-time
activities. I’d like you to compare Russian and British traditional leisure activities.

As you know all the activities can be divided into two large groups. When the weather is
good we spend our free time outdoors and when the weather is bad we stay at home.

Teacher: Your home task was to answer 2 questions. What are the Russian teen’s favourite leisure activities and what do you do in your free time?
На экране слайды 7, 8. По картинкам, изображенным на слайдах, учащиеся рассказывают, как проводят досуг в России и о своих увлечениях.
Pupil: The Russians love reading. This hobby is very interesting and popular with people of different ages. It is useful and helps you to learn the information about people and countries. People can take the books from the library or have the library at home. Sometimes books can help us to solve the problems of life and to plan our life and time .They also like going to the cinema and the theatre.
Pupil: In the winter Russian teen are keen on Skiing, ice-skating and ice hockey are also popular.
Pupil: In summer, the Russians love gardening and playing different games. It is useful because you can develop your mind and body. And it is interesting because you can meet different people take part in competitions and make friends. Some people go in for swimming or running, other prefer different games. This hobby helps us to be strong and healthy.
Pupil: I do a lot of things in my free time. On weekdays, I like reading and listening to music. At the weekends, I am fond of going to the cinema. I love watching adventure and science fiction films. I am keen on playing tennis too. In the winter, I also like ice-skating. In the summer, I am fond of hiking or walking in the forest with my friends.
Teacher: Well done, thanks.

Teacher: How do you think British teens spend their free time? We will watch the interviews about possible party activities. You have to take your work sheet to do ex1, 2, 3, 4 while watching. (Приложение 2)

Teacher: Let's check. We will watch the interviews about possible party activities. You have to do 4 ex. while watching. Read the tasks now.
Pupil: Nathan is planning a small surprise party for Lisa's birthday.
Pupil: Lisa, Miranda, Rick, Bob and Emily are going to come.
Pupil: Miranda usually does to the cinema on her birthday. This year she is going to see a film and then probably go somewhere for a pizza.
Pupil: Rick really likes dancing so maybe he can go to the disco or a club.
Pupil: Rob went bowling last week with a friend-they had a great time. And then watching a video.
Pupil: Emily usually has a party at her house but she has never been to a surprise party.
Pupil: He is planning to go bowling, then have a burger, then watch a video and eat a pizza
III. Обобщение и систематизация изученного материала
Teacher: You have cards of different colour on your desks. Look at the list of leisure activities in Britain You will work in pairs and tell what you like or dislike doing But, the students who have yellow cards should speak about good weather leisure activities .The students who have green cards should speak about bad weather leisure activities. When the weather is good and when the weather is nasty. I will come round and check. You have 2 minutes. Let's listen to the dialogue when the weather is good. (Приложение 3)

Pupil 1: I don't like taking photographs, but I like listening to music very much.
Pupil 2: Oh, really? What kind of music do you prefer?
Pupil 1: It depends on my mood. Sometimes it's classic music, sometimes it's pop music, but mostly it's dance music because dancing is another hobby of mine. And what about you?
Pupil 2: I'm fond of playing computer games. I can spend hours . I can spend hours playing a new game.
Pupil 1: I don't like playing computer games. I am fond of surfing the net.
Teacher: Let's listen to the dialogue when the weather is nasty.
Pupil 1:. I don't like going fishing. It's dull. I'm fond of playing different kind of sports.
Pupil 2: What kind of sports do you prefer?
Pupil 1: I am keen on playing tennis. What about you?
Pupil 2: I am fond of eating out. If I had a lot of money, I would eat out every day. But in reality I have to ask my pocket money to go to Mc Donald's.
Pupil 1: Don't you know that this food is very unhealthy?
Pupil 2: I know that it is fast-food but I like it.
Развитие монологической речи (работа в группах) (слайд 12)
Teacher: Now let's divide into 2 groups. Students from the first are from Britain. You live in London. Students from the second group are from Russia. You live in Moscow. Discuss leisure activities in your countries and tell the most popular in your opinion?
Учащиеся делятся на 2 команды. Одна команда – это подростки из России, другая – из Британии. Свои обсуждения записывают на листах ватмана. После чего, два представителя, рассказывают об увлечениях подростков в Британии и России.
Pupil: We think that teens in Russia usually stay in their house, listening to music and watching a lot of TV. They are crazy about computers and surf the net very often. They also play on their Play stations, which are very popular among teens in Russia.
Pupil: In Britain, teens get some pocket money. They spend it on bowling, going to the cinema, and they also play on Play station. They listen to music a lot. They are keen on playing and watching football. They are fond of shopping

Teacher: You have received the email from our English friend Mike. Read this email .First of all complete the gaps. (слайд 13)
