Цель урока: обобщение имеющихся у учащихся знаний по данной теме
Задачи урока:
познакомить учащихся
с необычными видами спорта в стране изучаемого
языка;
Речевой материал: В.П. Кузовлев. English 8;
Тип урока: обобщающий урок, презентация проекта.
Оснащение урока: компьютер; мультимедийный проектор; раздаточный материал: карточки с лексическими и грамматическими заданиями.
Ход урока
1. Greeting (2 min.) (орг.момент)
Teacher: Good morning! I’m glad to see you. How are you? The theme of our lesson is “ Sport Mozaic”. We are going to review all you know about sports, listen to your classmates, do lexical exercises. Today we’ll make a magazine, called “ Sport Mozaic” Our magazine has 5 pages. Let’s see. They are:
- Lexical and Phonetic page”
- “The popular British sports”
- Extreme sports”
- “My favourite sport”
- “Curiosity page”. (written on the blackboard as contents)
While you will listen to your classmates, you should fill the table, that you have on your desks. (контроль умения слушать и делать запись)

2. Warming Up Activities. (8 min.) (Лексическая зарядка)
Teacher: Try and remember words, which mean the names of sports.
Pupils: name and write words on the paper and stick on the blackboard. They say what kind of sport is it: winter, summer or all around year, also they may say is it individual or team sport.
Now look at the blackboard and read the words: mountaineering, climbing, biathlon, freestyle, pentathlon, triathlon, water polo, jogging, curiosity. (слова с переводом)
3. Going Over Homework. (28 min.) (защита проектов)
a) The second page is “The popular British sports” Who wants fill this page?
Who wants add any information on the page? (7min.)
b) Now we are opening the page of “Extreme sports” (pupils’ presentations ) (7 min.)
c) The fourth page “ My favourite sport” (pupils’ presentations) (7 min.)
d) Let’s open the last page “Curiosity page” (pupils projects) (7 min.)
4. Reflexing. (5 min.) Pupils get marks, using the system of marks. (рефлексия)
Teacher: Please, write down your homework. To prepare to test ex.2 (AB) (1 min.)
5. Подведение итогов урока (1 мин)
