Основные задачи:

• Образовательная: проверить знание алфавита, правил чтения, счета.
• Развивающая: развивать творческие способности учащихся, формировать готовность к коммуникации, мотивацию к изучению английского языка, интерес к чтению.
• Воспитательная: воспитывать активность, дисциплинированность, уважение к культуре других народов.

Teacher: Good morning, dear friends! We are very glad to see you at our ABC Party.
Сегодня мы проведем праздник Алфавита, на котором узнаем, как вы усвоили английский алфавит, цвета, счет, правила чтения. Во время праздника мы будем говорить и на английском и на русском языках. Задания к конкурсам будем объяснять по-русски.
Now, let’s begin our pаrty.
Our party is called “The Funny ABC”, that’s why the first task is to put the English alphabet together.

I. Put the English alphabet together (собрать разрезанный английский алфавит).

II. The second task is to match capital and small letters. Второе задание: соедините заглавные и строчные буквы.

III. Now I want to see if all letters of the alphabet are here. You are welcome, letters.

A is for apple.
An apple’s in the tree.
We like to eat apples,
You like and me.

B is for a big balloon,
It is yellow like the moon.

C is for my funny cat,
He always sleeps on my green mat.

D is for a doll,
It’s pretty and small.

E is for eleven and eight.
Nineteen plums are on the plate.

F for flowers: red and blue,
White and yellow, and purple, too.

G is for girls, as you can see,
They are in the garden under the tree.

H is for hands for work and play.
They are busy the whole day.

I is for ice-cream that I like to eat.
Ice-cream is tasty, it is so sweet!

J is for jam, for sweet apple jam,
I like it with bread, and so does Sam.

K is for kite, ready for flight,
It is green and yellow, it is very light.

L for little bunny and kitten,
They like to hop without stop.

M  is for mouse.
This hole is his house.

N is nut, for name and for nose,
I like to eat nuts and the smell of the rose.

O is for one, for old and OK,
I am very fine, I can sing and play.

P is for pilots, who fly very high,
Can you see planes in the endless blue sky?

Q is for questions, I like them a lot,
I always ask you: where, why, who and what.

R for run, we run a race,
We have such fun on sunny days!

S is for streets where buses run,
Two by two, or one by one.

T  is for tennis. Who likes to play it?
My Dad, and my Mother, and my brother Pete. 

U for umbrella, that gives me my Granny,
When autumn days are cloudy and rainy.

V is for village with houses within.
In winter it’s white, in summer it’s green.

W for winter, when snow is white,
Skiing and skating likes every child.

I am in six; I am in a fox,
I am in a Xerox, I am in box.

Y is for yard, where we like to play,
In summer we play in the yard every day.

Z is for zebra in the Zoo,
A funny zebu lives there, too.

IV. Can you count? Can you count from one to eleven? Посчитайте по-английски (разгибая пальцы из кулачка). Игра с мячом. Учитель называет цифру и кидает мяч. Тот, кто поймал мяч, должен назвать ее по-английски.

V. Now, guess what word is it? – Догадайтесь, какое слово спряталось за цифрами? (Каждая цифра соответствует порядковому номеру буквы в алфавите).

5, 12, 5, 16, 8, 1, 14, 20 – elephant

VI. Hello! Do you remember me? I am Buratino. I have got a lot of friends.

Буратино: Мы с друзьями часто собираемся вместе и рассказываем смешные истории или загадываем загадки. Сегодня я загадаю загадки вам. А вы попробуйте их отгадать. Подсказки вы увидите на картинках.

1) It is red and sweet.
And I like it to eat. (an apple)

2) Red or rosy,
In summer I grow,
I’m a fine flower,
As all you know. (a rose)

3) I’m black,
And red, and blue,
I draw a picture for you. (a pencil)

4) I don’t know the ABC
But I’m writing,
As you can see. (a pen)

5) It can tell you all the day:
