Цель: систематизация знаний учащихся по теме “Природа”.

Задачи:

  • развитие навыков устной речи (научить описывать картинку, используя изученные ранее слова и грамматические структуры);
  • развитие умения строить высказывания по образцу и самостоятельно;
  • воспитание любви к природе и желания общаться на английском языке.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент:

Hello, boys and girls! Sit down please! Good afternoon dear guests, we are glad to see you on our lesson.

So, let’s start.

What date is it today? What’s the weather like today? What was the weather yesterday? What about tomorrow? So, you can’t say exactly, use “I think…”

And now look at the picture, please, and say what you can see here? – NATURE (Приложение 1, слайд 1)

Well, open your ex-books and write down the date and the theme of our lesson.

Today we shall finish speaking about Nature and at the end of our lesson we shall describe this picture, using this plan.

1. Season. translate
2. Weather. translate
3. Nature. Translate

You will use this plan at home, too, because your homework will be to write a composition on the topic “Nature” Now open your diaries and write down your hometask. (Слайд 2)

And here is the first task for you. (Слайд 3) Please, read the words in transcription. Repeat all together.

I can see that you read in transcription well, but can you find these words in a puzzle? (Слайд 4)

Well, look at your desks. You have a square with many letters. Please, find words about Nature and Weather in this square. Use your pen for Nature and your pencil for Weather. I give you 4 minutes for this.

Time is up. Are you ready? Now, let’s check.

4. Проверка домашнего задания (spelling)

Well and now turn over your lists and put them away. We shall check now how you can write words about Nature. At home you should learn their spelling.

Put 6 numbers in your ex-books and write only the words which are necessary to complete the sentences. I give you 5 minutes for this task.

Time is up. Let’s check your answers. Open your squares again and check your spelling. Ставим плюсик, если верно. Read the first sentence. So, ocean, find this word in your square and check your spelling.

Put a five if you have no mistakes, a “4” for 1-2 mistakes, a “3” for 3-4 mistakes.

And now look at our picture again and answer my question: Are there hills in the picture? Is there a forest in the picture? Is there a mountain in the picture? (Слайд 6)

5. Физкультминутка

In summer we can swim and run. Let’s swim!!! Let’s run!!!
In winter we can ski and play snowballs. Let’s ski!!! Let’s play snowballs!!!
In spring we can play volleyball in our gym. Let’s play volleyball!!!
In autumn we can gather mushrooms and berries. Let’s gather mushrooms!!!

6. Повторение (погода)

Ребята, мы с вами только что записали слова о природе, а какие слова еще остались в нашем квадрате? – Weather. And here is the next task for you. (Слайд 7)

Now look at the screen, there are different signs of weather and sentences about weather. So, match the sentence with the sign. Сome to the blackboard. Let’s read them all together and translate.

Look at our picture again and say, what weather is in the picture. – It is sunny and cloudy. (Слайд 8)

7. Повторение (to be full of…)

Well, and now tell me please, Can you see a river or a sea in the picture? Begin your sentence with “I can see…”

And how do you think, is there fish in the river? – yes, of course!

So, how can you say “Река полна рыбы”? – The river is full of fish.

Now, look at the pictures and try to make up new sentences. (Слайды 9–12)

Make up your own sent about this picture.

Boys and girls, you’ve told me that the grass is green, the hills are full of flowers. So, what season is it in the picture, how do you think? – It is summer. (Слайд 13)

What other seasons do you know? – spring, winter, autumn

8. Аудирование

Right you are. There are different seasons in a year.

And now we shall listen to short stories about each of them. Your task is to match the letter (season) with the number of the text. So put 4 numbers in your ex-books and get ready to put the letter. (Слайд 14)

9. Заключительный этап

Well, now I would like you to divide into three groups.
The first group will make up a dialogue on the picture. (сильная группа)
The second group will describe the picture.
The third group will make up a text from words (разрезной текст:

I think it is summer in the picture, because trees are full of green leaves. It is sunny and cloudy in the picture. I can see a river and a forest. The forest is full of trees. There are some hills in the picture. There are three houses near the river)
