Игра дает детям возможность раскрыть свои способности в непринужденной обстановке как сказал Л.С.Выготский. Игра ведет за собой разностороннее развитие личности и его воспитание. Игра – это всегда эмоции, а там, где эмоции, - там активность, там внимание и воображение, там работает мышление.
Цели викторины:
- актуализация ранее изученного материала;
- совершенствование лингво-страноведческих знаний и умений;
- развитие навыков монологической и диалогической речи;
- расширение кругозора, развитие произвольного внимания, стимулирование учащихся к изучению английского языка.

I. Приветствие, ознакомление с правилами викторины
– Good afternoon, dear friends! Today we have a special day. We’re going to take
part in an involving competition, which is called “English Quiz”. We’ll see who
knows more about England and its history. Are you ready to start?
Ok, you were divided in two (three) teams. We will ask you some questions. The team that
raises their hands faster is going to answer. If you are right, you’ll get one point, if
– not, the other team can answer.
The winner will get a small surprise!
