Цели:

1) систематизировать и обобщить знания, умения и навыки по изученному лексико-грамматическому материалу;

2) развитие навыков коммуникативной деятельности;

3) развитие мышления, памяти, внимания; стимулирование самостоятельности учащихся

4) воспитание ценностного отношения к культуре страны изучаемого языка.

Задачи:

1) обобщить пройденный материал по теме;

2) развивать лексические, грамматические навыки, а также навыки монологической речи, чтения и аудирования.

Дидактические материалы к уроку: компьютерная презентация с материалом урока, раздаточный материал, тест, карточки с заданиями, тематические картинки с видами Лондона.

Оборудование: компьютер; медиапроектор; интерактивная доска.

Ход урока

- Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you! How are you? Sit down, please.

Today we’ll have a competition “What do you know about London?”. (Слайд 1. Презентация)

Учитель сообщает учащимся о проведении соревнования “Что вы знаете о Лондоне?”. Ученики делятся на 2 команды, придумывают название.

- Look at the blackboard. Let’s read the motto of our lesson “It’s better to see something once then to hear about it a hundred times”. Please, give a Russian proverb to these words. (“Лучше один раз увидеть, чем сто раз услышать”). (Слайд 2)

Той команде, которая даёт верный или близкий по значению вариант ответа, прибавляется 1 балл.

Task 1

Name all London's sights you know. (Назовите все известные вам достопримечательности Лондона)

Команды называют достопримечательности Лондона по очереди и получают за каждое название 1 балл.

Task 2

- Match the pictures and their names. (Слайды 3-9)

У каждой фотографии есть свой номер. Детям выдается список достопримечательностей Лондона. Они должны соотнести название и номер.
