Цели урока:

  • обучающие: совершенствование полученных знаний по грамматике, активизация навыков чтения, аудирования и устной речи.
  • развивающие: развитие способностей учащихся к общению на английском языке, развитие мышления, памяти и внимания.
  • познавательные: расширений общеобразовательного кругозора учащихся.
  • воспитательные: воспитание у учащихся интереса и положительного отношения к изучению английского языка.

Оборудование урока: мультимедийная установка, аудиозаписи, раздаточный материал, грамматическая таблица, учебник, запись на доске.

Ход урока

I. Приветствие.

Teacher: I’m glad to see you and our guests at our lesson. We are going to travel to the Grammar Country. The aim of our journey is Grammar Climbing Mountain. We have three teams: the Greens, the Yellows and the Oranges. The captains will present their teams and their slogans.

II. Warm-up activity.

Teacher: So, our aim is to climb the mountain. There are several steps to do it. First of all, we must remember everything about Present Simple. What is Present Simple? When do we use it? What forms does it have? What time expressions do we use? (The pupils answer these questions and sing a song).

Grammar Song

Do I, do you, does he, does she? Do we, do you, do they like school?
Oh yes, I do, you do, he does, she does, we do, you do, they all like school.

III. Step 1 – Start.

Развитие навыков монологической речи, конкурс капитанов «Рассказ о своем рабочем дне». По окончании рассказа противники задают капитанам вопросы.

Teacher: Let’s start our journey. And the captains will be the first. They will tell us about their daily routine. After their stories you can ask them questions.

IV. Step 2 – Interviewing.

Отработка вопросительных предложений в речи.

Teacher: We use Present Simple in different situations and when we interview people as well. Today you will interview our guests. You are welcome! (Учащиеся задают вопросы гостям урока: «Can you drive a car?», «Do you drive a car to school?», «Do you like coffee or tea?», «How often do you drink coffee?», «Do you like going shopping?», «What is your favourite shopping mall?», etc.

V. Step 3 – Reading competition.

развитие навыков поискового чтения. Чтение с текста с поиском необходимой информации: заполнить пропуски в тексте предлогами времени и выполнение задания «True/False». Ответы на вопросы учителя по тексту.

VI. Step 4 – «Mistakes Mount».

– «Перевал ошибок».

Teacher: In order to pass this mount, you have to correct a mistake in each sentence.

  1. She often go to the beach (goes).
  2. They visits Paris every year (visit).
  3. Every day, Paul catch the bus at 8 am (catches).
  4. I writes a letter to my friend every week (write ).
  5. My brother haven’t got long hair (hasn’t got).
  6. We starts school in September (start).

VII. Relaxing.

Физкультминутка.

This is a house. This is a door.
The windows are clean and so is the floor.
Outside, there is a chimney, as tall, as can be.
With smoke that goes up. Come and see.

VIII. Step 5 – «Proverb Contest».

Teacher: Dear friends! You can see a Christmas tree in the classroom. And everybody knows that Christmas tree is always a surprise for children. This tree has also got a surprise for you. Do you know any proverbs? You can name Russian proverbs as well. And our tree has got famous English proverbs. Three pupils (one from each team) should come to the tree , find the parts of the proverbs and join them together. Then, try to translate them into Russian or give Russian equivalent. The fastest of you will give a point to your team.

Proverbs:

  1. East or west, home is best (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше).
  2. An Englishman’s home is his castle (Мой дом – моя крепость. На своей печи – сам себе голова).
  3. There is no place like home (Нет места подобного дому. Дома и солома едома).

IX. Step 6 – «Writing competition».

Активизация навыков письма. Учащиеся выполняют задание: написать предложения в отрицательной и вопросительной формах.

  1. He works at a hospital.
  2. They watch TV in the evenings.
  3. Jane goes to school every day.
  4. We come from Russia.

X. Step 7 – Singing.

Разучивание песни «Busy».

Teacher: Do you like singing? I like it very much. And I want you to learn a new song. It is about our daily routine.

On Mondays, I play football. On Tuesdays, I meet friends.
On Wednesdays, I play basketball. The fun just never ends.
I’m always very busy. I’ve got lots of things to do.
From Monday through to Friday and at the weekends, too.
On Thursdays, I go shopping and buy the things I like
On Fridays, I go swimming and I often ride my bike.

Chorus

On Saturdays, I watch TV and stay up very late
On Sundays, I have lots of fun, the weekends are just great.

Прослушивание песни. Отработка песни под фонограмму, с опорой на текст.

XI. Step 8 – Finish.

Подведение итогов конкурса. Награждение победителей. Выставление оценок. Домашнее задание.
