Last Saturday Terry and Jackie came into the shop. They looked at some magazines. (and)

John woke up on Monday. He didn’t feel well. He wanted to go to school. His class were going on a school trip. His mother told him to stay in bed. She telephoned the doctor.

The doctor arrived. He examined John. He looked at John’s throat. He took his temperature. John couldn’t go to school for the rest of the week. He had flu. At first he didn’t mind. He felt ill. After a few days he was bored. He was happy to go back to school the next week.

Sean Connery was born in Scotland… now he lives in the south of Spain.

Summer is coming and I want to look my best: healthy, energetic and physically fit. So I’m trying to eat plain, simply cooked natural food, have enough sleep at night and have recently joined our local fitness club. Do you do anything special to stay healthy? What makes people healthy and strong? What do you think about a healthy lifestyle?

By the way, I’m going to spend a month at seaside this summer…
