Цели урока:
- практическая – систематизировать грамматический материал по теме «Tag-questions»;
- общеобразовательная – учить и научить каждого ученика навыкам коммуникативной грамматики, создать благоприятные условия для формирования знаний, умений, навыков;
- развивающая – развитие способностей осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные действия; развивать способность к выбору фраз, адекватных ситуации общения; развивать навыки аудирования и чтения с общим пониманием и извлечением специальной информации;
- воспитательная – воспитание личностных качеств, обеспечивающих успешность исполнительской деятельности (исполнительности, дисциплинированности, внимательности, уверенности, эмоциональности, ответственности, работоспособности, честности).
Задачи:
- Подготовка артикуляционного аппарата учащихся к дальнейшей речевой деятельности.
- Подготовка учащихся к активной учебно-познавательной деятельности на основном этапе урока.
- Закрепление и отработка разделительных вопросов .
- Снятие языковых и грамматических трудностей – повторение личных местоимений и спряжения глагола to be.
- Сообщение информации о выполнении домашнего задания.
- Развивать память, внимание, речь учащихся.
- Воспитание командного духа.
Оснащение: учебники, раздаточный материал (карточки), доска, рабочие тетради, Activity Books, мяч.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент (1 min)
Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. Who is absent today?
Today we will revise the words from the previous lessons and tag-questions and act out the dialogues.
II. Фонетическая зарядка (работа по цепочке) (2 min)
Now let`s revise the words from the section 1, from the invitation letter and some word combinations from the ex. 4. How do you divide them? (into 3 groups :существительные, модальные и вспомогательные глаголы, глаголы)

III. Речевая зарядка (фронтальный опрос) (3 min)
Now we will play an interesting game. I will pronounce the sentence and throw the ball to one of you. Your task is to ask me tag- questions .Listen to me attentively:
- You are a pupil (aren’t you?)
- You like bananas (don’t you?)
- You haven’t got a brother (have you?)
- Your mother is a doctor (isn’t she?)
- You are in the 5th form (aren’t you?)
- You don’t like picnic (do you?)
- You don’t like apples (do you?)
- Your mother’s name is Irina (isn’t it?)

IV. Проверка домашнего задания (работа в парах) (9 min)
a) Now let’s check your home task.
Open your Activity Books (ex. 11), change your activity books, take a red or black pen and mark the mistakes. Alex is to read the first sentence…
Who has no mistakes? – It’s an excellent mark, five.
Who has 1 mistake? – It’s good.
Who has 2 mistakes? – It’s three.
b) And now the dialogues(ex. 6 p. 26)
Let’s listen to 3 pairs. Listen to them attentively – you will choose the best pair.

VII . Физкультминутка (2 min)
Now let’s do some exercises for eyes, listen to me attentively and do it:
- Blink quickly during 10 seconds.
- Now close and open your eyes slowly.
- Close your eyes. Relax, make a deep breath .
- Look at the board and then on your nose. Make it 3 times.
Stand up, please. Now some physical exercises:
Hands up, hands down, hands on hips, sit down. Hands up, to the sides, bend left, bend right, Sit down please.
VIII. Закрепление и автоматизация новой лексики по теме «Reading and discussing an invitation» и грамматики (20 min)
a) самостоятельная работа (проверяем по цепочке)
I want you to open the textbooks on p. 28. You shall read Grammar discoveries to yourself and then the ex.8 on page 28. You have to match the questions and the answers.

b) аудирование
It is time to remember English words from an invitation letter and write down them. Go to the blackboard and put the missing letters to complete the words . (invitation, programme, weekend, arrange, responsible, travelling, social)

Close your books .I want you to look at the blackboard. You can see 2 questions on it. Let`s read them.(Who is responsible for tickets? Who will pay for the educational and social programmes?) The new words will help you to understand the text better. Listen to the dialogues and answer the questions.
c) групповая работа
Work in groups of 4.
Make up a short invitation letter for your friends. I give you the envelopes. Put your letters on its.
