Триединые дидактические цели

Образовательные цели:

  • обобщить и систематизировать знания студентов по теме «Communication» в ходе защиты проектов;
  • расширять культурный кругозор и приобщать студентов к мировой культуре через знакомство с различными способами общения в разных культурах и у разных народов;
  • расширять общий кругозор через знакомство с новыми формами общения;
  • совершенствовать навыки владения техническими средствами обучения.

Воспитательные (социализирующие, личностно ориентированные) цели:

  • воспитывать интерес и уважение к культуре стран изучаемого языка и   России;
  • воспитывать культуру общения и поведения в обществе;
  • воспитывать   языковую   и   речевую   культуру   как   неотъемлемую   и существенную часть культуры человека в целом.

Развивающие цели:

  • развивать учебно-информационные умения и навыки (работы с печатным и прослушанным текстом, сообщением и т. п.);
  • развивать учебно-коммуникативные умения и навыки (диалогической и монологической речи, восприятия звучащей речи на слух и зрительного восприятия печатного текста, а также письменного выражения своих мыслей).

ХОД УРОКА

Учитель: Good morning dear students and guests! Today we have an unusual lesson, a project lesson. Our topic today is communication. So why do we choose this subject? Everybody knows what it is.
Communication is the transfer of information from one person to another. Most of us spend about 75% of our waking hours communicating our knowledge, thoughts, and ideas to others. However, most of us fail to realize that a great deal of our communication is of a non-verbal form as opposed to the oral and written forms. Non-verbal communication includes facial expressions, eye contact, tone of voice, body posture and gestures. It may also include the way we wear our clothes or the silence we keep. Verbal communication is organized by language.
So today we want to show different ways of communication and decide which is the most important for us. That's an important topic for all of us. The world needs good communicators.
I really hope you will enjoy listening to this.
I asked three groups of students to make short presentations on different kinds of communication: mobile phones, body language and computers. After each presentation you will be offered to do a short task. So please, be active and don’t be shy.
Let’s start with the role of mobile phones in our lives. I believe everybody who is sitting here has a mobile, and some of you has several of them. We use it every day and can not imagine our life without this garget. But are there any disadvantages in using them? Welcome the first group and their presentation!

Учитель: Thank you very much, it was very interesting. And now we are going to make a short survey. We’ve prepared for you several questions. Please, complete this table and our project group will give us the results at the end of the lesson.

Учитель: People sometimes believe actions more than words! Have you ever heard anyone say, "His actions spoke so loudly I couldn't hear what he said?" Now we are ready to meet our next group and their project is “Body Language”.

(Cтуденты следующей группы показывают свою презентацию, на тему “Body language”)

Thank you! It was surprising, wasn’t it? What task have you prepared for our students?

Студент: We have found some interesting photos of celebrities and politicians. Try to guess what their gestures mean.

(Студентам показывают 8 фото известных людей в разных позах. Задание: попытаться догадаться что их жесты означают.)

Учитель: And finally I want you to welcome our third group and their project is “Computers in our life”.

(Cтуденты представляют презентацию на тему «Компьютеры в нашей жизни»)

Учитель: Thank you very much! Have you got any interesting task for our students?

Студенты: Yes, we offer you to make a short test “Are you a computer expert?” You should match the signs with the computer related words. You have 3 minutes to do it.

(Студентам раздаются листочки с заданием, после выполнения они обмениваются ими и проверяют ответы)

Учитель: Of course we haven’t talked about all types of communication. We can communicate through words, through music, through art and through different languages, to mention just a few. People from different cultures often communicate in different ways. Music, and even flowers – they're all different ways to send or receive messages. Finally, let's not forget animals: they can communicate too. Communication is not just for humans! So to put it into a few words we must say that the appropriate usage of communication can be of great importance. Nowadays a person should pay attention to all types of communication to get new information and to be understood properly.

Учитель: What about the results of our survey? Could you tell us a few words about it? (Студенты рассказывают о результатах исследования по теме «Мобильные телефоны») Now our project lesson has come to the end.  Good-bye!
