Today we'll speak about a healthy way of life. It’s no secret that people around the world eat different kinds of food. Can you tell me what should you do to be healthy?

Teacher: So today we are going to talk about healthy and unhealthy things. Look at the screen. Good .As you know some foods can be healthy but others are dangerous for our health, they are junk for our health. You can see different foods. Let’s divide them into 2 groups: unhealthy food and healthy food. There is a list of different tasty things. Your task is to choose healthy and unhealthy things.

People cannot live without food. Where does our food come from? Meat comes from animals. Eggs come from birds. Milk comes from cows. From milk people make butter and cheese. From plants we get fruit and vegetables. A lot of fruit grows on trees: apples, oranges and bananas. Some plants have fruit too, like the coffee plant. So coffee is a fruit drink! Tea comes from a plant too, but it is not fruit.
We eat similar food every day .It is usually very simple. Our daily meal consists of breakfast, lunch (at school), dinner and supper.
Fast food (like McDonalds) is very bad for our health. Ready-made food like pelmeni, hamburgers and so on is also not very good. A lot of people like drinking Coca-Cola and enjoy pizzas and hamburgers. But what is tasty is not always healthy. Fast food makes you fat that is why the Americans are the fattest people in the world.
We need food to be healthy and strong. We need many vitamins and protein. Fruit, vegetables, milk, bread, meat and fish have many useful things in them. For example, fish is good for brain, eating carrots is good for eyes and garlic keeps you from getting colds. It is important to eat not too much and not too little. Too much food makes people fat; too little food makes them weak.
It is important to do some sports, too. Sleeping eight or nine hours, getting up early, regular meals, not smoking and going in for sports is really a way to live. Remember to buy and eat the right food! We must understand that good health is above wealth.
