The words of teacher: It is difficult to live without music. We hear
music everywhere: in the streets, at home, over the radio, on TV, in the shops, in
the parks, in the concert halls, at the seaside.
We can`t live without music. We like to listen to music, we enjoy to dance to music/ We
play musical instruments. To day we have got musical lesson ,all our lesson we`ll speak
about music, listen modern music. And my first question is:
– Do you like music? (Yes I do. I like music very much.)
– What sort of music do you like?
(– I like pop music.
– I enjoy folk music.
– I adore classical music.
– My favorite music is dance.)
– What does music make you think of.
(– When I listen to classical music it makes me remember different seasons.
– When I listen to pop music it makes me think of happy days.
– When I listen to rock music it pictures in my mind a dark day.
– When I listen to folk music it provokes the picture of my early childhood.)
– Do you know the names of Russian composers? (Glinka, Tchaikovski, Prokofev, Mussorgsky, Sviridov.)
– Would you call same names of great foreign composers? (Bach, Dedussy, Mozart, Verdi, Rassin, Liest, Wagner.)
– You enjoy music. Do you know who has laid the foundation for modern music? (It was Mikhail Glinka. Who laid the foundation for modern Russian music after there years of study in Italy he began to suffer from the wish to hear music expressing the temperament of his own people.)
– What were the two best known Glinka`s operas Ivan Susanin, Ruslan and Lyudmila
based on? (His two best known operas I.S. and R.andL. were based on Russian folk and

– Who is the best known Russian composer? (Tchaikovsky is the best known of all Russian composer, he composed the music for the ballet Swan Lake and one of his most famous operas Eugene Onegin and the Queen of Spades and the ballets Sleeping Beauty, the Nut crakes.)
– Do you know music of our modern composers? (I like music by Edison. Alfred Shnitler, Sviridov, Govrilin, Dove, Brabek, Ray Chails.)
– Have you ever heard about the famous British festivals? What are they? (Scotland bagpipes festival. The festival of classical music in London. The festival of bard`s music in Wales. The musical festival of Beatles.)

– I am sure that every body known this music as you know that the most famous the most popular group in Britain and in all over the world in the 60th and 70th years was The Beatles – one of the famous figure in this group was john lesson who was the singer composer. Now we`ll listen about this man.

The group he formed, The Beatles changed pop music in 1962 people recognized
something different in their music music that the musical pop song`s at the time. The
Beatles were also more attractive than many other performers. Many more people began the

organize some kind of our own hit parade let Albina be the show-lady.

groups.
