Урок "Олимпийские игры". 7-й класс

Класс: 7

Цель: развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся.

Задачи:

1) совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком;

2) активизировать лексический материал по теме “Спорт”;

3) воспитывать чувство организованности, трудолюбие; повысить интерес к изучению английского языка;

4) развивать творческие способности учащихся; развивать коллективную деятельность.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, экран, презентация, фотографии российских спортсменов и олимпийских символов, проекты учащихся, “олимпийские медали”, раздаточный материал, флажки стран участниц, аудиокассеты с записями гимнов стран участниц, гимна олимпиады г. Сочи, песенки “Early to Rise” (из сборника Галины Доли), музыки для звучания во время раундов, 2 вареных яйца и 2 столовых ложки, лента аудиокассеты, кольцо и ножницы для игр.

Ход урока

1. Оргмомент.

Teacher: Dear friends! You are fond of sport: watching sport competitions on TV or going in for different kinds of sport. So today we have a lesson devoted to sport. It is called “Summer Olympic Games”. There will be some rounds-events in our Olympic Games. Two teams Russian and British will compete. A team which wins the round gets a “medal”. So, to be the winner of our Olympic Games you should get more “medals” than another team. Now let’s open our Olympic Games with the Hymn of the future Olympiad in Sochi. Have a look at the emblem, offered by Vera Krasilova, the pupil of form 7, the winner of our contest “The Best Emblem of the Olympiad in Sochi in 2014”. (Запись №1 гимн олимпиады. в г.Сочи ). Now let’s have a parade of the countries who participate in our Olympic Games. Will you stand up? (Записи № 2 и 3. Гимны России и Великобритании)

2. The first round. Table Tennis. Kinds of Olympic sports. (Пиктограммы 16 видов спорта) (Слайд 2)

Задание: назвать виды спорта со слайда поочередно каждой команде. Капитаны команд участвуют в жеребьевке.

Teacher: Let’s see what team will start the game. Captains, will you take the pieces of paper with the numbers. The ”British team” has got number 1 and the “Russian team”- number 2. Imagine you are playing table tennis. Name the sports on the slide. Do it quickly. The “British team” starts, names the first pictogram then the “Russian team” continues.

3. The second round. Weight Lifting. Olympic Symbols. (Фотографии на доске) (Слайд 3)

Teacher: Let us see who is the strongest? Will you answer the questions? Look at the slide 4.

4. The third round. A game. Running. (Аудиокассета, кольцо, ножницы) (Слайд 5)

По одному игроку от каждой команды выходят, продевают одну руку в одно кольцо, к которому привязана лента от аудиокассеты (несколько полос для нескольких игроков), другой рукой придерживают свои ленты, ножницами стараются разрезать свою ленту на полоски одного данного размера как можно быстрее (звучит быстрая музыка).

Teacher: We shall see who is the fastest.

5. The fourth round. Javelin Throwing. Countries. (Слайд 6) (Пазл, ответы)

Найти названия стран участниц Олимпийских игр.

Teacher: Which team will find more countries? Do the task on the sheets of paper. You have 4 minutes to do the task.

6. The fifth round. Fencing. Proverbs. (запись №4 песенка “Early to Bed”) (Слайд 8)

Teacher: Let’s listen to the children’s song to have a rest and to revise a proverb, which is in the song. Finish the proverbs, read them correctly.

Finish Proverbs and Sayings.

1. A sound mind men are known.
2. Health is better to do the deed and to say nothing.
3. After dinner sit a while in a sound body.
4. The best of the sport is than wealth
5. In sports and journeys after supper walk a mile.
6.A healthy mind in in a healthy body

7. The sixth round. Shooting. Outstanding Olympic Sportsmen.

Команды готовят рассказы о двух спортсменах по плану. (Слайд 9)

Teacher: Shoot at the goals. Tell about the sportsmen on the slide 10, using the plan. Each team tells about 2 sportsmen. (Приложение 3)

8. The seventh round. A game. Race. “Eggs – and – Spoon – Race”. (Ложки, яйца). (Слайд 11)

Участники каждой команды бегут, неся яйцо в ложке из одного конца класса до доски и обратно, передавая друг другу.

Teacher: Who can run faster?

9. The eighth round. A crossword puzzle. Wrestling. (Cлайды 12, 13) (Кроссворд)

Teacher: Do the task: guess the word under number 9.

  1. This is a part of a body which kicks a ball.
  2. This is skiing (or skating).
  3. A game on ice.
  4. A game with rackets and a small ball.
  5. A game with an orange ball.
  6. A game with a net and a big ball.
  7. You ride it.
  8. You do it in every game.
  9. Favourite game of boys.
