Good afternoon boys and girls. The theme of our lesson is “Kinds of arts and people in arts”. And we are going to begin our lesson. The question will be answered at the end of our lesson:
“Does art make people’s life brighter and happier? ”
At the beginning of our lesson we are having a phonetic drill and a warming up.

Дома вы повторили правила образования пассивного залога и в коротком тексте должны были найти его грамматические формы. Давайте проверим. Читаем текст и в каждом абзаце находим пассивный залог.
At home you read the text about Jazz and revise the forms of Passive Voice. Look at the text Ex.6 p.184, find and read out the sentences where verbs are used in the Passive Voice. (Ex.6 p.184)

Now we are going to listen to the some text twice. The name of the text is “The role of art in people’s life”.

“The role of arts in people’s life”.
Jim war intelligent, but he hated hard work. He said, “You work hard, and earn a lot of money, and then the government takes most of it. I want easy work that gives me lots of money and that the government doesn’t know about.”
So he became a thief – but he did not do the stealing: he got others to do it. They were much less intelligent that he was, so he arranged everything and told them what to do.
One day they were looking for rich families to rob, and Jim send one of them to a large beautiful house just outside the town.
It was evening, and when the man looked through one of the windows, he saw a young man and a girl playing a duet on a piano.
When he went back to Jim, he said, “That family can’t have much money. Two people were playing on the same piano there.”
Answer the question: Did the art help the family not to be robbed by Jim’s people?
