Yes, of course. (Вывешивается на доску плакат с темой). Let’s revise all the parts of the body. Today we will play different games and learn a new poem by heart.

Speaking skill (describing a picture). Now let’s describe this girl. Do you know her? Yes, her name is Malvina.
Детям предоставляется рисунок с изображением Мальвины. В слабой группе рекомендуется цепочный вид работы, когда каждый ученик описывает только одну часть тела. Затем более сильным ученикам предлагается составить полный рассказ. Можно разделить на 1–3 части, чтобы опросить большее количество учеников.

На доске прикреплены слова по теме. Вызываются 2 “охотника”; у каждого своя “сумка”. Слова надо разделить на две части: “Части головы” и “ Части тела”. Победитель тот, кто быстрее соберёт все свои слова.
Lisa, you are a hunter. Tanya, you are a hunter too. Have a look at these words. Let,s divide them into two groups: parts of the body and the parts of the head. Are you ready? Be quick. Good luck.

– Use the right word for each gap and read the text. Обсуждается задание. Для удобства выполнения задания раздаются отдельные листы бумаги с напечатанным на них текстом. Еще здесь важный воспитательный момент: мы не пишем в книге. Я всегда напоминаю ученикам о бережном отношении к книге. В пробелы ученики вставляют пропущенные слова. На магнитных карточках слова вывешиваются на доску.
Anticipated difficulties. Вводятся слова «tongue» и «lips» при помощи карточек. Отрабатывается звук [ŋ]. Слова проговариваются хором.

We heard some new words. Let,s translate them. Let,s remember the words “lips” and “tongue”. (Вновь показываются картинки, которые использовались при работе с текстом). The new words: “Smell” – нюхать (можно использовать мимику), “pie” – пирог (показывается картинка). Слова проговариваются хором.
Phonetic exercise. Let,s revise the sounds [w], [θ] and []
Отрабатываются звуки.
Далее дети повторяют за диктором стихи, построчно их переводя. Открывается доска, на которой написан текст стихотворения. Читаем по строчке по цепочке: учитель – ученик – ученик и т.д.
В тексте на доске стирается по одному слову в каждой строчке.
