Цель урока: развитие речевых умений в монологической и диалогической речи в зависимости от целевых установок.

Воспитательная цель: развитие у учащихся любви к спорту, умение ощущать себя частью спорта.

Учебные задачи урока.

1. Активизировать ЛЕ по теме в речи учащихся и в чтении.

2. Организовать работу с диалогом “My classmate’s sport activities”.

3. Совершенствовать навыки работы с текстом с целью извлечения главной идеи.

Оборудование урока: мультимедийная презентация, компьютер, проектор, учебник, таблица.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

1. Организация класса к уроку.

2. Речевая зарядка.

Teacher: Look at the screen. I would start our lesson with proverb: “To have a healthy mind you must have a healthy body”. Translate it. Do you agree with this proverb? (Ученик зачитывает пословицу и переводит. Далее выражает своё согласие или несогласие с пословицей). (Приложение (презентация - слайд 1)).

Teacher: People all over the world are fond of sports and games. Sport makes people healthy, keeps them fit, more organized and better disciplined. Some people go in for sports for their health and some for professional aims. Many people do morning exercises, jog in the morning and train themselves in clubs, in different sections and take part in sport competitions. Other people like sports too, but they only watch sports games, listen to sport news. They prefer reading interesting stories about sportsmen. But they don’t go in for sports. Answer my questions.

  • Do you like sports?
  • What sports do you prefer?
  • Do you like tennis (football, basketball, volleyball, running)?

Teacher: And now you will work in pairs. You are to ask your partner some questions about his or her sport activities and then tell the class what you have found out. (Учащиеся составляют диалоги. Опора находится на экране). (Приложение (презентация - слайд 2)).

3. Сообщение плана урока.

Teacher: Let’s give a title to our lesson. Give your ideas. (Учащиеся предлагают названия урока).

Teacher: So, the title of our lesson is “Sport for everybody”. (Тема урока показана на экране). (Приложение (презентация – слайд 3)). At the lesson you will speak about sport, work with the table, read and discuss the text, remember the names of sports.

II. Основная часть урока.

1. Работа с таблицей.

Teacher: To do sports you need a lot of energy and strength. Work with the table now. You should answer the questions:

  • How much energy you need?
  • Does it make you strong and flexible?

Put a tick if you think the sport needs a little energy and two ticks if it takes a lot of energy. Then put a tick if it makes you strong and flexible and two ticks if the sport makes you very strong and very flexible. (Таблица находится на экране и на столах учеников). Teacher: Let’s compare your ideas with the rest of the class.

2. Работа с текстом (извлечение главной идеи).

a) Чтение текста.

Teacher: Some people like to take part in sport, other people prefer to watch sports competitions. Let’s read the texts and then answer the questions. Open your books on page 128, ex.2. (Учащиеся читают текст по абзацам по учебнику В.П.Кузовлева, Н.П.Лапа и др., учеб. для 8 кл).

b) Работа над содержанием текста.

Teacher: Now I’d like you to answer some questions:

1) Who thinks that sport builds character makes a person strong?

2) How does he explain his point of view?

3) Does Mrs. Brown think sport is very useful?

4) Why does she think so?

3. Обучение говорению.

Teacher: What is better, to do sports or to watch it? You must finish these sentences. (Опора находится на экране). (Приложение (презентация – слайд 5)).

In my opinion…

4. Физкультминутка.

Teacher: Let’s have a rest! (Учитель проводит с учащимися зарядку для глаз).

Look left, right!
Look up, look down!
Look around!
Look at your nose.
Close your eyes.
Open, wink and smile.
Your eyes are happy again!

5. Работа с картинками.

Teacher: Everybody may choose the sport he or she is interested in. But you should know the names of sports. Look at the pictures. Write in the names of these sports. (Учащимся нужно посмотреть на картинки, которые представлены на экране, и написать какой вид спорта изображен на картинке). (Приложение (презентация – слайд 6)).

6. Чтение стихотворения о спорте.

Teacher: To sum up the topic of our today’s lesson read the poem about sports. (Ученик читает наизусть стихотворение. Опора находится на экране для всех учеников). (Приложение (презентация – слайд 7)).

I go out cycling every day,
I get strong and 1/2t that way,
And I play football at weekends,
With all my other healthy friends.
We like to run and swim and walk
Let’s move around, no time to talk!
So we enjoy sport anyway,
We love to do sport every day.

III. Подведение итогов.

Teacher: You worked hard at the lesson. I hope you have learned some new words and expressions. What activities did you do at the lesson? Your marks are good and excellent. Please, put down your homework. The lesson is over, good luck to you.
