Методическая разработка итогового урока по теме "Школьная жизнь"

• систематизировать и расширить знания по изученной теме и страноведческие знания,
• формирование грамматических навыков (настоящее обычное время, прошедшее обычное, настоящее длительное, будущее обычное, вопросы с «хвостиками», предлоги),
• формирование лексических навыков,
• развитие речи учащихся (монологический пересказ, диалоги),

• развитие умения логически мыслить, сопоставлять, развитие языковой догадки,
• развитие умения синтезировать информацию,
• развитие коммуникативных навыков,
• совершенствование навыков говорения,
• развитие творческого потенциала.

• воспитание уважения к традициям другого народа,
• развитие умения работать в коллективе,
• формирование культуры диалогового общения.

По форме – смешанная: урок систематизации и обобщения знаний и встреча команд.

Основной дидактический метод – проблемно-поисковый.

Частные методы и приемы: беседа, выбор правильного варианта ответа, подбор соответствий, подбор лексики, прием иллюстраций, исправление ошибок.

Оборудование: таблицы, карточки, интерактивная доска, бейджики с именами.

Домашнее задание: подгруппа была заранее разделена на 2 части: российские школьники (представители нашей гимназии) и английские школьники (те, кто приехал к нам в гости). Обе команды должны были подготовить рассказ-экскурсию про своё учебное заведение (с подобранными иллюстрациями), подготовить небольшие подарки друг для друга по теме «Школа».

1. Организационный момент и приветствие

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you! Sit down, please! Today we are going to finish discussing school life in Russia and Great Britain. We will review all the material and we’ll have two excursions: to our gymnasium and to one of the English schools.

2. Встреча «иностранных» гостей-детей

Teacher: Let’s begin our lesson. Today in the morning the group of English pupils arrived at our gymnasium. Welcome! (Со своих мест встают 5 учеников одетых в деловые костюмы в одном стиле с символикой школы, бейджиками.)

English pupils: (1) Hello! We are from Great Britain from London. My name is Kate. (2) I’m Mike. (3) My name is Hellen. (4) I’m Steven. (5) And I’m Liz. We are glad to see your beautiful city and you here.

Teacher: We are glad to meet you, too. Sit down, dear guests! Our pupils wants to greet you, too and tell you some information about our gymnasium.

R.pupil 2: We’ve also an assembly hall. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, fighting, athletics, football, volleyball, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our gymnasium attend these sports groups.

4. Рассказ-экскурсия про школьную систему образования в Англии

Teacher: Thank you very much! Sit down, please. Our guests would like to tell you about British schools, too.

En.pupil 1: We are the pupils of the Green Wood School. Рисунок 19 (показ на интерактивной доске). You know that British schools don’t have numbers – only names. There are many differences between schools in Britain and schools in your country. In Britain school starts between 8.30 and 9.00 and finishes at about 4 o’clock in the afternoon. It is a long day but there are no lessons on Saturdays.

En.pupil 2: Children usually have lunch at school. However, some children don’t like school meal and take sandwiches to school or go home for lunch. We spend much time outdoors during the school day.

En.pupil 3: In Britain schoolchildren usually wear a uniform. For boys the typical uniform is a white shirt, a tie, a dark pullover and grey or black trousers, In some schools they also have to wear a blazer (a jacket). The girls’ uniform typically consists of a white blouse, a pullover and a skirt.

En.pupil 4: In Britain school holidays are different from those in other European countries. They are longer at Christmas and Easter but much shorter in the summer. The school year starts the first week in September and ends the third or fourth week of July.

En.pupil 5: Children start primary school when they are five years old; they stay there until they are eleven. Then they usually go to a secondary school, usually a comprehensive one. Children cannot leave school before they are sixteen. At this age most students take exams. Students who continue their studies go into the sixth form. If their school doesn’t have a sixth form, they change schools or go to a college. Students spend two years in the sixth form and then take more public exams. In some parts of Britain, however, the system is different. Students go to middle schools at the age of eight and then go to secondary schools when they are twelve or thirteen.

On Monday I usually wake up late and have no time to eat my breakfast. I can't find my school books. At last I find them in the kitchen. I run to school and I am nearly late for school. I enter the classroom when our class-teacher begins to say “hello”. The first lesson on Monday morning is Maths. Mr. Bailey, the Maths teacher, collects our homework and then gives us some sums to do. The next lesson is Handicraft. I like Handicraft. It's nice to make different things. At last it is eleven o'clock: time for break. A girl, whose name is Susan, gives me a piece of cake to eat with my milk. Then we have two lessons of PE. I like sports so it’s my favourite lesson. At half past twelve it is time for lunch: a meat pie, potatoes or spaghetti and a glass of juice or milk. Then I go into the playground with my friends. We play football there.
