Цели и задачи урока:

образовательные – закрепление в речи учащихся ранее пройденного лексического и грамматического материала, формирование умение коллективного речевого взаимодействия, навыков поискового чтения и навыков аудирования;

развивающие – развитие умения самостоятельной работы, формирование навыков здорового образа жизни;

воспитательные – воспитание у учащихся умений слушать ответы одноклассников,   высказывать своё мнение по изучаемой проблеме, прислушиваться к мнению других.

Тип урока: комбинированный урок с применением мультимедийной презентации –Приложение 2

Формы работы: фронтальная, групповая, индивидуальная, парная.

Методы работы: беседа, репродуктивный, аудиовизуальный, частично-поисковый.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный комплект, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you. The topic of our lesson today is “The way we live”. At our lesson today we’ll learn a lot of interesting things. We’ll watch a video, discuss some health problems, do a lot of exercises, listen to a dialogue and sing a song.

2. Warm up (слайд 2)

Teacher: Let’s start our work. Look at the pictures and answer my questions.

  • Do you find the way they live right or wrong?

P.1– In my opinion, their way of living is wrong.

– What don’t you like in their way of living?

P2.– I think, Tom sleeps a lot and Robin eats a lot. They are too lazy.

  • What can you advice them?

P3. – Tom should sleep eight hours at night, do morning exercises and do sports.

Robin should eat more fruit and vegetables, ride a bicycle and go swimming.

Teacher: Well, you are right. Let’s help them become healthy, active, sporty and strong.

3. Контроль знаний лексического материала

Teacher: Let’s repeat the words and do some exercises. Each group has its own task. (Приложение 1)

Teacher: Look at the examples. Listen and repeat. Use the cues to write questions.

Now work in pairs. Ask your partner your questions.

7. Watch the video (слайд 9)

Teacher: To be healthy you should go in for sports and have a good diet. Watch the video and complete Gulliver’s menu.

P1. – No, I think, there is much salt and pepper in his dish.

P2 – There aren’t any vegetables and fruit.

Teacher: The second task: Who would say the following, the customer or the waiter?

  1. I prefer to drink mineral water.
  2. Can I help you?
  3. I’d like fried rice, please.
  4. I’m sorry, but we haven’t got any rice today.
  5. What’s the problem here?
  6. There’s a butterfly in my soup.

Teacher: Some lessons ago you answered the questions about your way of living. Let’s listen to the results. (слайд 10)

P3. – Hello, boys and girls! My name is Nastya. I’m a representative of the Town Healthy Centre. Our Centre studies the interests of young people and the way they live. That’s why we’ve asked you to answer some questions. We’ve analyzed them and we’ve made the following conclusion. We’re pleased to know that 86% of you are fond of sport, you do morning exercises. You’re interested in different sports. But what is good, you go in for winter and summer sports. That means that you do it regularly. It’s very good for your health. Thank you for answering our questions.

8. Writing (слайд 11)

Teacher: To join any sports club you need to complete the form with information about you.

Check your answers for spelling and punctuation.

Now copy and complete the form.

9. Proverbs (слайд 12)

Teacher: How can you explain the proverbs you have seen at our lesson?

Find Russian proverbs with the same meaning.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. – Лук семь недугов лечит.

(If a person eats an apple every day, he will remain healthy and he needn’t a doctor.

By doing nothing we learn to do ill. – Праздность – мать всех пороков.

(There is no excuse for doing nothing – when people do not have enough work to do, they get into trouble)

The first wealth is health. – Здоровье – главное богатство.

Prevention is better than cure. – Болен – лечись, а здоров – берегись

The appetite comes with eating. – Аппетит приходит во время еды.
