Цели урока:
- обобщение изученного лексического и грамматического материала по теме "Дом. Квартира";
- развитие аудитивных, грамматических и лексических навыков;
- развитие у учащихся интереса к изучению английского языка.
Оборудование: карточки с заданиями, лото по теме "Мебель", карточки с номерами, карточки с предлогами, звёздочки-жетоны, магнитофон, мультимедийное оборудование.
Примечание: урок проводится в виде соревнования на лучшего знатока темы. За каждое правильно выполненное задание ученику выдаётся звёздочка-жетон. Кто набрал больше звёздочек, объявляется победителем, ему вручается медаль "Ты сегодня - молодец".

Уч.: I hope you are fine. Today we will play the game "Star Hour". Our topic is " Home sweet home". Let s begin. We read the rhyme.

Уч.: The English people say: "My home is my castle". Let s remember the English proverbs and sayings about the place we live in.
Задание 1. Назвать английские пословицы поговорки о доме, соединив правильно начало пословицы с её продолжением, и перевести получившуюся пословицу на русский язык.
Задание 2. Развитие навыков аудирования. Let s remember the name of the rooms we have in our houses and flats.
На доске написаны названия комнат. Учитель зачитывает небольшие рассказы - описание различных комнат. Ученики, прослушав рассказ, поднимают табличку с номером.
1 - a kitchen

3- a living room
4 - a bathroom
5 - a hall
6 - a study
Примерные рассказы:
People can prepare breakfast, dinner in this room. We have a fridge, a table, a cooker and a cupboard in this room. ( a kitchen)
There are beds or a sofa in this room. You can see a little table and a wardrobe there. People have a rest in this room. (a bedroom)
This room is not very large. We have a bath in this room. You can clean your teeth, wash your hands and face there.( a bathroom)
There is a TV-set, some chairs and a sofa in this room. Some people have a fireplace there. There is a carpet on the floor. It is usually the largest room in the house. People watch television, listen to music or sit around and speak there. (a living room)
You can see a table, a chair and some shelves on the wall in this room. You can read books, do your homework or write a letter in this room. (a study)
This room is not very large. People take off their overcoats, hats, boots or shoes there. There is usually a mirror and a little table there. (a hall).
Задание 3. Совершенствование лексических навыков. I hope yoou will be glad to play the new game. It help us remember the words on the topic 'My home".
Игра "Лото". Учитель раздает ученикам карточки в виде напечатанной таблицы. В ячейках таблицы написаны слова по-русски по теме "Мой дом". Затем учитель диктует слова по-английски. Дети должны вспомнить это слово и закрыть его фишкой. Учитель проверяет правильность закрытых полей лото и дает звёздочки всем, кто правильно выполнил задание.
Примерный набор слов для лото: a bath, a carpet, a bathroom, an armchair, a hall, a lamp, a flat, a bedroom, a chair, a door, a fireplace, a floor, a kitchen, a living room, a mirrow, a picture, a shelf, a sofa, a wall, a window, a pantry, a room, a table.
6. Задание 4. Отгадай кроссворд. Учитель раздаёт учащимся карточки с кроссвордами. Теперь учащиеся наоборот должны вспомнить и вписать в кроссворд слова по-английски

4. письменный стол.
5. ковёр.
6. полка.

8. кресло.
9. кровать.
7. Задание 5. Развитие орфографических навыков. Пятачок нарисовал нам картинки различных комнат и мебели и сделал подписи к ним. Но, посмотрите, Пятачок не знает, как писать некоторые английские слова и пропускает в них буквы. Давайте ему поможем!

Совершенствование грамматических навыков. Выбери правильный предлог:

Read the text and find the object in the picture. Ученики смотрят на картинку на интерактивной доске и текст. Прочитав и поняв текст, на листочках записывают название той вещи, о которой идет речь. Все, ответившие правильно, получают звёздочки.

Подведение итогов урока. Ученики подсчитывают набранное за урок количество звёздочек. Ученик, набравший большие число, становится лучшим знатоком данной темы и получает медаль "ТЫ СЕГОДНЯ МОЛОДЕЦ". Все учащиеся получают оценки по итогам выполненных заданий.
