Do you like your home?
Englishmen say "My home is my castle". How do you understand this proverb?
There is another proverb "There is no place like home". It is the motto of our lesson today. Can you give the Russian equivalent of this proverb? (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше)
2. Тренировка лексики по теме "Квартира"
Today we visit the Burks. Mrs. Burk, Joey's mother, is going to buy a new house. We'll help her to furnish one of their rooms. But first let's remember some words

5. Работа с проектом комнаты
Mrs. Burk asks us to help her. She needs to design one of her room. Let's divide into 2 groups. The 1st group - designers. Your task is to make the design of the room, paint it on the sheet of paper and make up sentences. The 2nd group -workers. You will furnish the room and while you are waiting, try to guess the puzzle. (приложение №2)
"Дизайнеры" произносят предложение, "рабочие" выставляют на магнитной доске предмет мебели.
Do you like the room? Is it comfortable? What kind of room would you like?

1. This room is on the ground floor. This room is large. Mrs. Burk cooks food in this room. There is a stove, a sink, a dishwasher and a microwave oven in it.
2. This room is on the first floor. It is not large. There is a desk, a wardrobe, a bed in it. There are some bookshelves in it.
3. This is not a room. It is on the ground floor. There is no table. You can see a hall stand here. We take off our coats and hats there.
4. This room has 2 large windows. The Burks like to sit in this room in the evening. Sometimes they watch TV, sometimes they read or play chess.
