Цели урока:
- Введение и первичная активизация новой лексики;
- Совершенствование умений и навыков чтения и перевода;
- Развитие навыков аудирования;
- Повторение грамматического материала по теме “Множественное число имён существительных”, знакомство с существительными, образующими множественное число не по правилу.
Задачи урока:
1. Развивать умения и навыки устной речи: учить рассказывать о городе,
сельской местности, используя оборот There is / There are;
2. Развивать умения и навыки в чтении и переводе:
- Работать над техникой чтения вслух;
- Учить полностью понимать текст, построенный на знакомом языковом материале;
3. Познакомить с произведением детского фольклора (стихотворением) на
английском языке;
4. Повторить правила образования множественного числа имён существительных,
познакомить с существительными – исключениями: sheep, man, woman.
5. Воспитывать чувство любви к своей малой родине.

Teacher: Good afternoon, boys and girls!

Teacher: I’m glad to see you!
Pupils: Thank you, we are glad to see you too!
Teacher: Thanks, sit down please. Let’s begin our lesson. Now, look
through the window and say, what season it’s now.
Pupil: It’s winter.
Teacher: Well, do you like winter?
Pupil: Yes, I do.
Teacher: OK. Why do you like winter?
Pupil: I like winter because it’s nice and snowy. In winter we can ski,
skate, toboggan, make snowmen and play snowballs.
Teacher: Thanks, and what’s the weather like today?
Pupil: It’s cold and snowy today. It’s not sunny.
Teacher: Yes, you’re right. Do you like the weather?
Pupil: No, I don’t. / Yes, I do.
Teacher: Neither do I. / So do I.
Now, children, today we’re speaking about the place we live. Some of us live in the town and some – in the country. Are they different or not? Please, open your books on page 33. You see here a picture of a farm. Let’s see what there is on the farm.

of the most favourite English songs about a farmer and has dog called BINGO.

Teacher: Good for you! Your singing is fantastic! And now, look at the top of page 34. You can see Mr. Rule! He has a new rule for us!
Pupils repeat the rule of plural forms of Noun and learn the new words:

Teacher: And now let’s read the letter of a Russian girl Sveta who lives in Moscow. She tells her Pen Friend about her country – Russia. But before reading let’s look and learn the new words in the table at the bottom of the page. Read them after me: country, in the country, capital, city, people. Read the text, please.

Teacher: Well done. And now it’s time to have a rest and dance a little. Stand up, please. Let’s dance a dance “Step – step, clap – clap”.
