Цель: формирование лексических навыков по теме “Домашние животные”.

Задачи урока:

1. Практические: совершенствовать
а) навыки монологической и диалогической речи;
б) навыки неподготовленной речи на базе темы;
в) навыки чтения с общим и детальным пониманием содержания.

2. Развивающие:
а) развивать интерес у учащихся к овладению новыми знаниями;
б) учить учащихся анализировать, сравнивать, делать выводы.

3. Образовательные: расширить кругозор учащихся по данной теме.

4. Воспитательные: повышения интереса к изучению английского языка, воспитание культуры языкового общения, уважительного отношения друг к другу, умения внимательно слушать собеседника, прививать любовь к животным.

Оборудование: доска, наглядный материал (картинки с изображением изученных лексических единиц, животных).

Ход урока:

1. Сообщение цели урока.

T. Good morning, boys and girls. I'm glad to see you. Today we'll speak about animals in our life, you will recite the poems, ask and answer questions, solve riddles. You’ll learn much information about animals. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and you will enjoy it. Let's start

2. Речевая зарядка.

T. You сan see pictures and names of some animals on the blackboard. Match the pictures with the words. Make up the sentences with these words.

(Ученики работают в парах. Подбирают к картинкам животных названия. затем зачитывают. Составляют предложения.)

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

T. Which poems and proverbs about animals do you remember? Let’s recite them!

4. Тренировка навыков диалогической речи.

T. Our pets live near us in the house. We love them. Do you agree with me? Let’s speak about our dogs and cats in pairs, One of you is an interviewer and has to find out some information about your friend’s pet. Take the sheets of paper, ask the questions to your classmate and write the answers.

Вопросы для интервью:
Are animals very important for people?
What do animals give for people?
Do you have a pet at home?
What is pet’s name?
What does your pet eat?
What can it do?
Who looks after your pet?
Why do people talk about animals?
Should we take care of any animal?

(Ученики берут интервью у одноклассников. По ходу интервью они делают краткие записи, чтобы потом рассказать, что они узнали.)

5. Тренировка навыков устной речи на основе интервью.

T. You are very clever. You like animals and like to watch at them. Now, please, show us your favorite animals and tell about them.

(Учащиеся рассказывают о своих домашних любимцах или о домашних питомцах своих одноклассников.)

6. Тренировка в чтении текста с полным пониманием прочитанного.

T. We have discussed the main items of our lesson. We love our pets, we care of our pets. I think it’s time to know new information. about pets in Great Britain.
What pets do the Englishmen have at their houses? Do they love them?

Open your textbooks at page 87 ex.2 “We love our pets” (приложение)
Read the title and say what the story is about.

7. Проверка понимания содержания прочитанного.

Answer the questions.

Guide dogs are Labradors, aren't they?
What do guide dogs do?.
Do they need special training?
What can blind people do with the help of guide dogs?
Which information is known for you ?
Which information is new for you?
What have you learnt from this text?
What is the main idea of this text?

T. Are these statements true or false? Correct the false statements. Support your answers with the information from the text. Ex.3 P.88

8. Активизация лексики по теме “Our Pets”.

T. Let’s play guessing game
Please, guess our riddles. Here they are.

This animal is very big. It is grey and may be white. It has a very long nose.
It lives in Africa. It likes to eat leaves and grass. (an elephant)

This animal lives at home or in the street. It’s a man’s friend. It can run and swim but can’t fly and climb. It is very friendly and clever. (a dog)

This animal lives in the house. It’s not big. It likes to eat carrots and it is afraid of a fox. This animal runs very fast. (a rabbit)

This animal is red and cunning. It likes hens and cocks, hares and ducks. It lives in the forest. (a fox)
This animal can be black, grey, white and red. It lives in the house. It can catch a grey mouse. It likes meat, fish and milk. It can run, jump and walk. (a cat)

8. Рефлексия.

Прием “Синквейн”.

Т. Now think about the topic of the lesson and write a Japanese poem (синквейн).

What do you think about pets? What association do you have?

Let’s make up cinquains about pets. Do you remember what is it? It is a kind of poem consisting of 5 lines (a general word. two adjectives on the topic, three verbs, the main idea of your “poem” (it must consist of 3–4 words) and a synonym of the general word. Make up as many cinquains as you can. All your cinquains will be different. Read them aloud when you are ready.

Work in pairs.
