1. Приветствие.
T: Нello, everybody! It is nice to see you again. How are you?
P: Нello, teacher! Fine, thanks. And how are you?
T: I am fine too. Thank you.
2. Сообщение цели урока.
T: Today we are going to read, listen and discuss the text about Danny and his father .And you will try to understand what Danny thought of his father .
3. Ознакомительное чтение текста.
Упр.46 стр.87 Учащимся предлагается прочитать текст один раз и ответить на вопрос :What did Danny think of his father ?
4. Аудирование с опорой на текст.
Учащиеся слушают текст и выполняют задание
Упр.52 стр.90
Say true, false or do not know.
5. Тренировка в ответах на вопросы по содержанию прочитанного текста.
Imagine that you are Danny and answer these questions.
Where did you spend your early years?
How big is your family?
Did you have many friends in your boyhood?
What is your house like?
What is your father like?
Where does your father work?
It is not comfortable to live in a gypsy caravan, is it?
Why is your father so gloomy and serious sometimes?

- Match the phrases in English and Russian.

7. Подготовка к пересказу текста.
a) Find in the text and read out the sentences describing the following:
a) the workshop;
b) the caravan and its history;
c) the furniture and other things they had in the caravan;
d) the father’s duties when Danny was a baby;
e) Danny’s early years;
f) the way the father looked;
g) Danny’s evening in the caravan with his father.
