Кто хочет стать отличником

Цели:

• образовательная: совершенствование навыков устной речи, активизация страноведческого материала;
• развивающая: развитие интеллектуальных, познавательных способностей, повышение мотивации и интереса учащихся к изучаемому языку в процессе игры;
• воспитательная: формирование у студентов уважительного отношения к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка.

Оснащение игры: интерактивная доска (экран), ноутбук, проектор, магнитофон, мобильный телефон, игра-презентация Microsoft PowerPoint (для корректной работы необходимо разрешить использование макросов).

Участники игры: студенты 1-го курса, изучающие английский язык, аудитория 205, звонки другу осуществляются по мобильному телефону.

Продолжительность игры: 45 мин.

Ход игры-презентации

Начало игры.

Ведущий (преподаватель) приветствует участников и болельщиков с началом игры “Кто хочет стать отличником?” и рассказывает условия игры.

Good afternoon, students! I’m glad to see you at the game “Who wants to be an excellent student?”. Now I will explain you the rules. I will ask you a question and give four variants. You should choose the right one. During the game you can take the mark you have already won or continue playing. You will have three mark which can’t be lost – two, three and four. You will also have 3 prompts: 50/50, a call to a friend and the help of the audience.

Количество отборочного тура зависит от качества игры участников. В конце игры дается гонг-сигнал об окончании игры. Паузы заполняются исполнением песен на английском языке, стихами.

Телевизионные развлекательные передачи, викторины всегда интересны учащимся. Им хочется проверить свои силы, знания, почувствовать себя в роли участника программы. Давно в учебных заведениях стали популярны мероприятия, построенные по принципу телепередач “Что? Где? Когда?”, “Брейн-ринг”, “Поле чудес” и других. В рамках Недели иностранного языка для студентов 1-го курса я проводила игру “Кто хочет стать отличником?”. Нетрудно догадаться, что прототипом для этого мероприятия стала телевизионная игра: “Кто хочет стать миллионером?”

Игра “Кто хочет стать отличником?” стимулирует мотивацию учения, вызывает у студентов интерес и желание победить.

Игра “Кто хочет стать отличником?” хорошо подготовлена как содержание, так и форма ее реализации.

Во время игры все студенты переживают за участника и готовы помочь при необходимости.

Игра “Кто хочет стать отличником?” проводится в доброжелательной атмосфере, вызывает у студентов чувство удовлетворения, радости. У участника, прошедшего отборочный тур, появляется чувство уверенности в своих силах, в том, что он может ответить на вопросы и заработать почетное звание отличника.

Игра организована таким образом, что участник игры в общении с ведущим может с максимальной эффективностью использовать пройденный языковой материал.

В игре “Кто хочет стать отличником?” студенты овладевают такими элементами общения, как умение поддержать беседу, в нужный момент согласиться с мнением собеседника или опровергнуть его, умение целенаправленно слушать собеседника, задавать уточняющие вопросы и т.д.

Заключение.

В заключение интересной, увлекательной игры следует сказать, что всё задуманное нами выполнено. Студенты обрадовали нас своей уверенностью, целеустремленностью, упорством и хорошим уровнем знаний языка.

Разработанная нами игра-презентация хороша тем, что легко трансформируется, что позволяет использовать ее для контроля знаний учащихся на разных этапах обучения в игровой форме. Количество вопросов различных уровней сложности неограниченно. Каждые новый участник получает свой уникальный набор заданий.
