Задачи:
- Образовательные: развитие устной речи и навыков аудирования, умения логически строить высказывание.
- Воспитательные: формирование у школьников уважения, интереса к культуре и народу Великобритании.
- Развивающие: развитие мышления, инициативы в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности, расширение кругозора учащихся, развитие познавательного интереса, памяти и внимания.
- Учебные: создать условия для формирования умения учащихся участвовать в обсуждении на основе полученных знаний по теме и организации монологических и диалогических выступлений; помочь учащимся обобщить знания о Шекспире и его творчестве на материале трагедии “Ромео и Джульетта” в объеме 10–15 предложений.
Речевой материал: лексический и грамматический материал, усвоенный на предыдущих уроках на рецептивном и продуктивном уровнях.
Оборудование: компьютер, компьютерный проектор, компьютерные слайды, интерактивная доска, интернет, текст о Шекспире из УМК О.В.Афанасьевой, Михеевой English V1.
Дома учащимися был просмотрен фильм на англ. языке “Romeo&Juliet” (реж.Zeffirelli), проделана большая работа по поиску в интернете и освоению материала о жизни и творчестве Шекспира, а также о театре его времени.
Тип урока: закрепление и совершенствование знаний.

Today we are going to talk about one of the greatest English poet & playwright William Shakespeare. Let’s start our lesson.
2.1. Let’s Talk about Shakespeare’s biography.
What do you know about William Shakespeare? When & where was he born?
What do you know about his mother?
What was his father?
What can you tell us about his brothers & sisters?
Where did Shakespeare get his education? What do you know about his school?
When did he get married?
Who can tell us about his wife?
How many children did they have?
When did Shakespeare leave his family & why? Where did he go?
Tell us about his life in London. What did he do there? How did he earn his
living?
2.2. Now let’s talk about sonnets.
Where did the sonnet first appear?
What do you know about English sonnet?
How many sonnets did Shakespeare write?
Who translated them in Russian?
What is your favourite Shakespeare’s sonnet? Recite it, please.
2.3. Do you know that the Prologue to “Romeo and Juliet” is also a sonnet?
