Ход урока
I. Warming up
Good morning, dear children. The theme of our lesson is “Revision “Clothes. Appearance”. (слайд 1)
Be active. For each correct answer you get”+” Don’t forget our rules:
- speak English,
- don’t make noise
- listen to your teacher and friends attentively.
We begin with warming up. Answer my questions:
- What day of week is it today?
- What is the date?
- What season is it?
- What is the weather like today?
Well done. So we know everything about today’s day.
II. Phonetic drill [1]
For our phonetic drill we’ll read a rhyme about clothes with the sounds [s], [z].
Listen to the tape. Pay attention to the intonation, sounds [s], [z]. Look at the screen, read the rhyme. (слайд 2) Good of you.
III. Revising the words on the theme “Clothes”
Look at the pictures. Name the clothes: This is a …. (dress, cap, skirt, shirt, jacket). These are ….. (shorts, socks, shoes, trainers, jeans, trousers, glasses).
You know the names of the clothes well. Let’s see if you remember how to write the words.
IV. Writing the missing letters
Look at the white board. These are the names of the clothes. Write the missing letters and read the word.

VIII. Reading
Let’s recall the words we use to describe people (слайд 4):

Look at the white board. These are our characters: Andy, Sue, Meg, Polly, Miss Bell, Mr Macaroni, the clowns, Tom, Pete. (Every pupil gets the description of one of the characters).
Read the text and guess who it is [4].

IX. Speaking
Now you’ll work in two groups. Your task is to dress the doll and describe it using the plan (слайд 5):
- Name
- Age
- Hair (long/short, blonde/dark, straight/curly)
- Eyes (big/small, green/grey/blue/brown)
- Nose (big/small)
- Clothes
For example: This is a clown. His name is Tico. He is 20. He has long curly hair. His hair is red. He has big eyes. His eyes are black. His nose is big and round. He has yellow trousers, a purple and yellow shirt. He has red shoes and an orange hat with a flower. (слайд 6)
One group dresses a toy boy and describes it. The second group dresses a toy girl and describes it according to the plan.

X. Подведение итогов.
Сегодня на уроке мы закрепили лексико-грамматический материал по теме “Clothes. Appearance”. Мы развивали навыки чтения, речевые навыки общения на английском языке, используя изученную лексику и глагол have, развивали навыки монологической речи. Мы работали в парах, оценивали свою работу и работу своих товарищей.
