Цели урока:

  1. Учебные:
    • закрепить и обобщить лексику по темам “Clothes. Appearance”
    • повторить употребление глагол have
    • продолжить формирование умений в чтении
    • формировать навыки монологической речи
  2. Развивающие:
    • развивать речевые навыки по заданным темам
    • развивать внимание, память, мышление
  3. Воспитательные:
    • развивать культуру общения в разных видах коллективного взаимодействия
    • воспитывать у учащихся умение слушать и слышать друг друга при разговоре на английском языке

Оборудование:

  • предметные картинки;
  • куклы, одежда;
  • магнитофон, кассета;
  • телевизор;
  • ноутбук;
  • задание по интеллекту.

Ход урока

I. Warming up

Good morning, dear children. The theme of our lesson is “Revision “Clothes. Appearance”. (слайд 1)

Be active. For each correct answer you get”+” Don’t forget our rules:

  • speak English,
  • don’t make noise
  • listen to your teacher and friends attentively.

We begin with warming up. Answer my questions:

  1. What day of week is it today?
  2. What is the date?
  3. What season is it?
  4. What is the weather like today?

Well done. So we know everything about today’s day.

II. Phonetic drill [1]

For our phonetic drill we’ll read a rhyme about clothes with the sounds [s], [z].

Listen to the tape. Pay attention to the intonation, sounds [s], [z]. Look at the screen, read the rhyme. (слайд 2) Good of you.

III. Revising the words on the theme “Clothes”

Look at the pictures. Name the clothes: This is a …. (dress, cap, skirt, shirt, jacket). These are ….. (shorts, socks, shoes, trainers, jeans, trousers, glasses).

You know the names of the clothes well. Let’s see if you remember how to write the words.

IV. Writing the missing letters

Look at the white board. These are the names of the clothes. Write the missing letters and read the word.

You know how to write the words on the theme « Clothes ». You work well.

V. Let’s do an exercise for our eyes.

VI. Intellectual task

Let’s recall the verb “have”. Look at the screen (слайд 3).

Now we are ready to do intellectual task. We’ll develop attention. Sign your work. Read the task and begin doing it. Check up your answer with the key. If you have no mistakes, write 100% on the line “your mark”. Attention will help us to do our next task.

VII. Relaxing

Now we’ll have a short break. We’ll see who is the most attentive. Follow my instruction if I say a magic word “please” [3].

  1. Touch your ears, please.
  2. Touch your eyes.
  3. Touch your hair, please.
  4. Touch your socks.
  5. Touch your shirt, please.
  6. Touch your knees, please.
  7. Touch your shirt.
  8. Sit down.
  9. Sit down, please.

VIII. Reading

Let’s recall the words we use to describe people (слайд 4):

  • Our hair may be …. (long/short, blonde/dark, straight/curly)
  • Our eyes may be…. (big/small, green/grey/blue/brown)
  • Our nose may be …. (big/small)

Look at the white board. These are our characters: Andy, Sue, Meg, Polly, Miss Bell, Mr Macaroni, the clowns, Tom, Pete. (Every pupil gets the description of one of the characters).

Read the text and guess who it is [4].

  1. He has dark hair. His hair is short and straight. He has black eyes. He has a big nose. He has a beard. (Mr Macaroni)
  2. He has short curly hair. His hair is black. He has black eyes. He has a small nose.(Andy)
  3. She has red curly hair. She has big black eyes. She has a hat. (Miss Bell)
  4. She has dark hair. Her hair is short and straight. She has a small nose. She has black eyes. (Sue)
  5. She has blonde straight hair. She has a small nose. She has black eyes. (Meg)
  6. They have curly hair. They have red noses. They have hats. They are funny. (The clowns)
  7. He has short blonde hair. It is straight. He has a small nose. He has glasses. (Pete)

IX. Speaking

Now you’ll work in two groups. Your task is to dress the doll and describe it using the plan (слайд 5):

  1. Name
  2. Age
  3. Hair (long/short, blonde/dark, straight/curly)
  4. Eyes (big/small, green/grey/blue/brown)
  5. Nose (big/small)
  6. Clothes

For example: This is a clown. His name is Tico. He is 20. He has long curly hair. His hair is red. He has big eyes. His eyes are black. His nose is big and round. He has yellow trousers, a purple and yellow shirt. He has red shoes and an orange hat with a flower. (слайд 6)

One group dresses a toy boy and describes it. The second group dresses a toy girl and describes it according to the plan.

You did a great work. I am pleased with you.

X. Подведение итогов.

Сегодня на уроке мы закрепили лексико-грамматический материал по теме “Clothes. Appearance”. Мы развивали навыки чтения, речевые навыки общения на английском языке, используя изученную лексику и глагол have, развивали навыки монологической речи. Мы работали в парах, оценивали свою работу и работу своих товарищей.
