I. Организационный момент.
– Good morning, boys and girls, dear guests! I am very glad to see you. How are you?
II. Объявление цели урока.
– Today we will travel to a wonderful land full exciting adventures, amusements and magic. Look at the screen, do this puzzle and you'll know the topic of our lesson (слайд 2).
- A dictionary – a book that gives the words of a language in alphabetical order and explains their meaning, or translates them into another language.
- A textbook – a book that gives information for the study of a subject.
- A biography – the story of a person’s life written by sb else.
- An encyclopedia – a book or set of books giving information about every branch of knowledge, or about one particular subject.
- The Bible – the sacred writings of the Christian Church, consisting of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
- Non-fiction – books based on factual material, such as biographies, travel books, books on science, the arts, history …
- A guidebook – to describe a place, for example, a town, a district or a country.
– So, as you see, the topic of our lesson is “Reading” (or “Books in Our Life”)
