- В области устной речи: монологической – через выполнение различных упражнений; диалогической – через составление диалога по опоре;
- В области поискового чтения;
- Обучение учащихся способам решения проблемно-ситуативных задач с помощью заданий коммуникативного характера, стимулирующих речевое мышление и взаимодействие участников в условиях самостоятельности
Общепредметные компетенции: развивать фонематический слух, способность к переключению внимания в разных видах речевой деятельности, к планированию своей речевой деятельности, к выбору выражений, адекватных ситуации, к осуществлению репродуктивных и продуктивных речевых действий – т.е. формировать деятельностный компонент предметной компетенции; развитие памяти и способности анализировать.
Коммуникативная компетенция: обеспечение грамотного уровня владения языком, готовность общаться в группе и парах
Воспитательный аспект: способствовать воспитанию культуры общения и формированию потребности в практическом использовании английского языка

The population of this country is mixed. Some people came from Britain years ago. Some Maori people lived here before the British came. The official languages are English and Maori.
