Цели:

  • развитие навыков монологической речи, аудирования, чтения;
  • закрепление грамматических навыков: количественные и порядковые числительные; глагол must;
  • развитие логического мышления;
  • воспитание любви к животным и милосердия.

 Оборудование: магнитофон, LCD проектор, карточки с рисунками по теме «Animals», рисунки учащихся (любимые игрушки и животные), карточки.

ХОД УРОКА

T: Good morning, girls and boys. Do you like animals? What animals do you like? Why do you like them?

P: I like cats because they are fluffy.

T: Today we are going to talk about animals and about our favourite toys. Then we will go to the world of animals. I think you will like this trip to the world of animals. But first of all  you must listen to riddles and say what animal it is.

Riddles.

  1. It is big. It is grey, strong, cruel. It can run, jump. It likes meat. (А wolf)
  2. It is fat. It is big, brown. It can run, climb. It lives in the forest. It likes honey, sugar, sweets. (А bear)
  3. It is not big, not small. It is cunning, orange. It has long tail. It likes mice, chickens, hares. (А fox)
  4. It is grey in summer and it is white in winter. It can run and jump. It has long ears, small tail. It likes carrots, cabbages. (А hare)
  5. It is not small, not big. It is black and white. It likes milk. It can run, jump, climb. It lives in the house. (А cat)
  6. It is my friend. It is big and brave. It likes bones, soup, meat. It barks “bow-wow, bow-wow”. (А dog)
  7. I am big. I am green. My tail is big. I can swim. I live in the jungle. I eat fish and monkeys. (А crocodile)
  8. I am small. I have two legs, but no ears. I can jump. I can swim. I eat flies. (А frog)
  9. I have no legs. I can’t walk. I can swim. I have a tail. (А snake)

T: Thank you. We are in the world of animals. (Приложение 1, слайд 1)

A lot of animals live in this world. (Приложение 1, слайд 2) Look at the screen and say    which animal is the first (second-tenth) one?

P: The first animal is a cow. (А horse, a wolf, a panda, a dog, a fox, an elephant, a crocodile, a tiger)

T: Ten. (Приложение 1, слайд 3) What animal is the tenth one? You should ask questions and guess what animal it is.

Has …
Does …

T: Yes, it is a parrot. Do you want to know her name? Her name is Polly. Polly has tasks for you. Parrots like to count. The first Polly’s task. Say in words (Приложение 1, слайд 4): 21, 12, 33, 46, 100, 156, 272, 88, 56, 77, 94, 25, 11, 3, 80.
The second Polly’s task. (Приложение 1, слайд 5)  Listen and choose the right answer.

P1: This is a doll. Her name is Marina. She is nice, beautiful. She has blue eyes. She has yellow, long hair. She has little, red mouth. She can say “Ma-ma”. She likes to eat bananas. She likes to drink milk and juice.

P2: This is cow. It is big and brown. It has big eyes. It has two left legs and two right legs. It has a tail. It can run, jump. It likes bread, leaves, grass. A cow gives us milk.

T: Polly has a favourite toy, too. Please listen about her toy and answer the questions. (Приложение 1, слайд 9)

– I have got a toy. It is a cat. His name is Persik. He is orange. He is big. He has got a big body, a long tail, long legs, long hair. He is two years old. He is nice and fluffy. He likes to eat meat. He doesn’t like to eat porridge. He likes to drink milk. He doesn’t like to drink water. He can run and jump, climb very well. He can’t dance or sing, but he is very clever. He is my friend. I like to play with Persik. He likes to play with a ball. I teach my cat to answer to his name. I look after him.

– What is the cat’s name?
– What colour is it?
– What does it like to eat?
– What does it like to drink?
– What can it do?
– What can’t it do?
– Is he big?
– What does he like to play with?
– Who looks after Persik?

 T: Polly has a friend. Her friend is a squirrel. Now use the right word for each gap and read the text about her friend. (Приложение 1, слайд 10, карточки)

T: Parrots like nice things. Our Polly is very clever. She has a nice picture “Summer in the village” (Приложение 1, слайд 11). What animals can you see in the picture?

P: We can see a dog. (А cow, a sheep, a cat, geese, hens, a cock, a magpie, a raven, a goat, birds)

T: Which animal do you like and why?

P: I like a dog because it is big, fluffy and clever.

T: Polly has the Red Book. (Приложение 1, слайд 12)  Do you know about this book? Why is it red? What animals are there in the Red Book?
There are bats, woodpeckers. There is a brown bear, a stoat, a ground squirrel, a hedgehog and other animals. We must protect these animals.

T: Children, we talked about wild and domestic animals. What must and mustn’t we do? (Приложение 1, слайд 13)
