Музыка "Once Upon a Christmas Song"

- P1

"A Happy Christmas to you!
A Happy Christmas to me!
A Happy Christmas to all our friends
Whenever they may be.
A Happy Christmas to school
And to our teachers too.
A Happy Christmas to everyone
And I wish my dream comes true."

- T. Dear boys and girls! On the 25th of December people in many countries celebrate Christmas. And what is Christmas?

- P2. For many people it is the most important festival of the year. It is time of love and happiness.

- P3. It is the birthday of Jesus Christ.

- TAnd what do you know about His birth?

- P4. He was born in Bethlehem in Judea. His heavenly father was Holy Spirit and his earthy parents were Mary and Joseph.

- P5. After the baby was born the angle told Mary to name Him Jesus. All of a sudden many more angels appeared and sang a beautiful song to God.

- T. In a land far away from Bethlehem some wise men saw a new star in the sky. They understood a new star meant someone special was born. They decided to follow the star and to find the baby.

- P1. And why did they want to find the baby?

- T. They wanted to give Him wonderful gifts and to worship Him.

- P2. I think their trip was long. But how did they find the place?

-T. The wise men went their way, and the star which they had seen in the east went on before them, until it came and stood over where the Child was. They came into the house and saw the Child with Mary, His mother. How happy they were! They fell down and worshiped Him, and opening their treasures presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

-P3 Does the tradition of giving each other presents on Christmas Day appear in those old days?

-T. I think, you are right. Special services are organized in churches on Christmas Eve.

-P4. Some years ago a group of our pupils visited London during Christmas Days. We were in a Cathedral. The decoration there resembled the place where Jesus was born. You remember He was born in a stable - the place where animals lived. It was the only place Mary and Joseph could find when they came to Bethlehem. When Jesus was born Mary wrapped Him a soft cloth and put Him in the manger - a box filled with hay.

-P5. And I learnt the Prayer in English: "Our Father, which art in Heaven, Hallowed by the name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily Bread, and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from Evil. Amen"

-T. Children, do you remember the commandments of God people should follow?

-P1. Yes, I do. One of them is not to have another God except your God.

-P2. Not to create the idol. I think it is right because each person is individual with his own abilities.

-P3. Respect your father and mother.

-P4. Not to kill, not to steal, not to lie, not to envy.

-P5. You should not commit adultery.

-P6. Do work during 6 days but remember Hallowed and do not work on the seventh day.

-P7. Not to wish your neighbor's wife, friend, cattle and everything he possesses.

-T. All these commandments are effect even today.

-P1. I think Christmas is the happiest and the merriest holiday, when people meet to wish each other to be healthy, wealthy and well. It is the time of colorful illuminations and brightly decorated New Year Tree. It's time of presents and overeating.

-P2.

"Let's meet Christmas!
It's Christmas! Merry Christmas,
Yes, it's merry, merry Christmas,
It's time for hanging stockings
It's time for riding sleighs,
It's time for jolly greetings,
Snow and holly overeating.
Oh, I love you merry, merry Christmas,
You're the best holiday"

-T. And now let's sing the song about our favorite holiday.

Children sing the song "Once Upon a Christmas Song" by Geraldine McQueen

(Have you been a good little boy?)

(Have you been a good little girl?)

Once upon a Christmas song,
Everybody sang along,
You'd see the joy on every face,
And the world it seemed a happier place,
These songs bought us together (together)
Good time memories forever (forever),
Now I know what they mean,
And what they've given to me,
I'd have never believed,

Because we'd be singing them,
Over and over, and over again,
Every December they get in our heads,
Turn em' up, play em loud,
Every Christmas should be the same,
Singing them over and over, and over and over again.

They say they're good for the soul (Good for the soul),
But someone tell me I don't know,
Why no one seems to write them no more (Write them no more),
So the only way to settle the score,
Is to all make way for a new one,
That keeps the heart of the old one,
With a little bit of festive cheer,
And you'll know when Christmas is near,
When this record appears, once a year,

You'll be singing this over and over, and over again,
Every December you'll hear it and say,
Turn it up, play it loud,
Every Christmas should be the same,
Singing it over and over, and over and over again,

It's getting in your head (It's getting in your head),
It's getting in your head (It's getting in your head),
And if your not singing it all night,
You'd be telling a lie,

You'll be singing this over and over, and over again,
Every December you'll hear it and say,
Turn it up, play it loud,
Every Christmas should be the same,
Singing it over and over, forever and ever again,
Over and over, and over again,
(Repeat 7 times)
