- Образовательная: совершенствовать лексические и грамматические навыки говорения;
задачи: активизировать в речи лексические единицы по теме, модальные глаголы must, should, время Present Perfect. - Развивающая: развивать умение работать в группах.
- Воспитательная: воспитывать сознательное отношение к обязанностям и правилам поведения в школе.
Оборудование: магнитофон, аудиоприложение к учебнику, компьютер и экран для показа слайдовой презентации.
I. Организационный момент
Good afternoon, children. I am glad to see you all. I hope everybody is ready for work. Let’s start our lesson.
II. Фонетическая зарядка
Let’s begin our lesson with the phonetic exercises. Look at the blackboard. Here you see some difficult words you’ll meet at our lesson. Read them after me.

And now I’d like you to read the poem
Mummy says never run on the road,
Daddy says never cheat
My brother says never play with his toys

I am sick, sore and tired
Of being told “Never.”
What is the girl tired of?
The answers (She is tired of the word “never.” She is tired of rules)
Let’s find the rules in the poem.
III. Введение в тему. Составление микро - диалогов по образцу.
Today we are going to speak on your duties, rules and your rights.
Do your parents often say the words “must/ mustn’t”? When your Mum or Dad tells you, “You must do your homework”, you answer “I have already done it.”
Now act out short dialogues with your partner. One of you will be Mother (Father), who tells you to do something, the other will answer “I have already done it.”
Example: You must clean your teeth. - I have already cleaned them.
Use the phrases (read the book, clean your room, wash your clothes, make your bed, eat your breakfast, …) If you want, you may add your own phrases.

(Duties)
Do you have a lot of duties at home? What must you do to help your parents?
(Ученики отвечают на вопросы, давая развёрнутые ответы.)
- I must do the dusting every day.
- I often do the washing - up.
- Sometimes I do the cooking.
V. Аудирование.
Do you think you have any rights? Do children have any rights? (Yes, surely)
Now you are going to attend a conference about the rights of the child. You are going to listen to one of the speakers and answer the questions:
- What is the main idea of the speaker?
- What rights should the child have?
The answers:
1. Adults should stop nagging. 2. The child should have the right to have an opinion, the right to choose, the right to get love and care without nagging.)
Think of more rights of the child and I am going to show you some slides. Perhaps they will help you.

VII. Подготовленное монологическое высказывание (Выступление на конференции)
At home you were to prepare your speech about the rights of the child. One of you will speak all the rest will listen to him and then answer the question “Do you have the same rights in your speech?” (Выступают 5 сильных учеников)
Let’s sum up the most important rights. ( The right to have love and care, the right to education, the right to have opinion, the right to choose)
VIII. Составление правил поведения для учеников, учителей, родителей и общих правил для всех. (Работа в группах).
We have discussed our duties and rights. Now I want you to work out the rules for students, teachers, parents and for everybody. You will be divided into four groups. The first group is going to work out the rules for students, the second – for parents, the third for teachers, the fourth – for everybody.
IX. Представление правил (выступление групп.)
Choose your top five rules and read them for all students. All students vote for or against these rules. If we have the majority, I’ll write down these rules on the blackboard.
На доске четыре колонки: 1) Rules for Students 2) Rules for Parents 3) Rules for Teachers 4) Rules for Everybody
(После выступления групп на доске остаются только те правила, которые были приняты.)

At home you are to write down the rules you’d like to have in our school.
