Цели урока:

Формирование обобщенных знаний по теме: "Steps to Success" и оперирование ими.

• Образовательный компонент цели: расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся, расширение социо-культурных знаний.
• Развивающий компонент цели: развитие языковых способностей учащихся, умения самостоятельной работы, творческого мышления, готовности к коммуникации.
• Воспитательный компонент цели: создание условий для формирования у учащихся ответственного отношения к своему будущему, воспитание толерантного отношения к мнению окружающих, поддержание интереса к учению.

• формирование и совершенствование лексических навыков говорения и расширение словарного запаса учащихся по теме;,
• развитие навыков восприятия речи на слух.

Методы обучения:

• Коммуникативный метод с использованием индивидуальной, парной и фронтальной работы учащихся;
• личностно-ориентированный подход;

Целеполагание: организовать взаимодействие учащихся через развитие коммуникативной компетенции по проблеме значимости успеха и пути его достижения.

• учебно-логические умения - умение мыслить критически, делать выводы, выражать свою точку зрения.

• создать благоприятные условия, стимулирующие учащихся на свои собственные суждения и высказывания по данной проблеме;
• продолжить работу над развитием у учащихся навыков и умений самовыражения на основе лексико-грамматического оформления речевого высказывания;
• поощрять исследовательское умение учащихся в образовательном процессе; давать аргументированные ответы по проблемным ситуациям.

INTRODUCTION OF THE LESSON

President Dmitry Medvedev announced 2009 as the year of youth in Russia.

This initiative of the head of our state became the logical continuation of the work to provide for the interests of the upcoming generation.

Youth is a very important period in the life of any person. This is the time when young people discover the world and tries to determine the place in the life.

This is the emblem of the year.

1) An educated person is one who knows a lot about many things. He always tries to learn, find out and discover more about the world around him. But the road to learning is not easy. Almost every teen is eager to enter a university and to get higher education.

2) The role of foreign languages is increasing today. Thanks to the knowledge of foreign languages you can read books in the original, talk to foreigners. Nowadays, skilled specialists are needed with profound knowledge of foreign languages like English, German, French or Chinese.

3) Young people have to earn money, because they want to be independent from their parents. Job gives the young people a chance to adjust themselves to the real life. All teenagers want to have a lot of money in order to dress well, to visit foreign countries, to buy books.

4) Communication is one of the most important problems of young people. It is important to find a good, real friend. The proverb says, "A friend in need is a friend indeed." You'd better make friends with gay and honest persons.

5) Another problem of the youth is the problem of love. Young people fall in love when they reach the age of Romeo and Juliet. But for a happy family life two people must not only love, but understand and respect each other.
