Цель: развитие языковой компетенции обучающихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»

Задачи:

  1. активизировать лексику по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».
  2. развивать навыки устной речи (монологического высказывания).
  3. закрепить полученные знания, использование в речи устойчивых выражений,  лексического материала по теме.

Образовательная цель:

  1. повторение и закрепление лексико-грамматического материала, в том числе  Present Continuous
  2. развитие коммуникативных умений.

Развивающая цель:

  1. развитие творчества, самостоятельности при составлении высказывания на  английском языке;
  2. развитие памяти учащихся.

Воспитательная цель:

  1. воспитание интереса к культуре изучаемого языка;
  2. воспитание культуры общения;
  3. учить работать в паре, индивидуально.

Ход урока

1. Оргмомент

Good morning, girls and boys!

I’m glad to see you.

Sit down, please. How are you? Who is absent today? Why is he/she absent?

2. Фонетическая зарядка

I’d like to get your tongues ready for speaking English.

Look at the screen and repeat the sounds after me, please!

3. Речевая зарядка

Now tell me, please: What date is it today? What is the day of week today?

What is the weather like today? What was the weather like yesterday?

What season is it now? What season will be the next?

Do you like summer? Why? Do you like travelling?

The theme of our lesson is Places of Interest in London.

4. Лексическая зарядка постановка цели урока

Now look at the picture and describe it. Какое время вы будете использовать при описании данной картинки. Как образуется это время.

Use: the Petrovs, planning holidays, information, travel, travel agent, London

Today you are going to be travel agents. During our lesson you are going to collect all information you know about London. After our lesson at home you’ll make a virtual excursion to help the Petrovs choose sights they want to visit.

But first of all we are going to revise London sights they can visit.

6. Развитие навыков говорения, проверка домашнего задания

Now tell me, please, what was your homework for today? (Ex 16 p 65)

At home we have read a text about different London sights.

Which sights have you read about? We have read about Big Ben, Trafalgar Square…

Take these papers. (Приложение №2 Рабочий лист) There you can see different photos of places of Interest in London.

You should match the sights with their descriptions.

Discuss possible variants with your partners.

But you have more pictures than phrases. What can you see on them?

Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery

You are going to listen to and then read the text. And you should write necessary information about them.

But before listening let’s revise some phrases you’ll meet in the text. Now switch on your screens and look at the task.
