Урок-игра "Последний герой" на английском языке

Цели: Обобщающий урок к УМК New Millennium English 6 по юнитам 1-6.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, проектный экран, магнитофон, магнитная доска, аудиозапись, конверты с заданием для песни, листы к заданиям № 1 по аудированию, карточки с заданиями для учащихся, рисунок яблони, “яблоки”-задания, 4 нарисованных корзины, магниты.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

II. Проведение игры.

Для проведения игры класс делится на две команды по 5–7 человек. За основу игры взяты правила известной телепередачи “Последний герой”.

Каждый игрок играет как сам за себя, так и за свою команду, т.е. за каждый правильный ответ он получает очко в личном зачете и оно также прибавляется к общим очкам команды. В этой игре ведущий – учитель, у него два помощника (2 других учителя или старшеклассника).

III. Игра.

I. Аудирование.

Listen to the text and do the task.

Little Red Riding Hood’s mother said, “Grandma is on the phone. She says she’s ill. Why don’t you get your motorbike and take her some magazines”?

“OK” , said Little Red Riding Hood. “I will”.

Little Red Riding Hood drove to her grandmother. When she got there, she knocked on the door.

“Come in”, said grandmother. “The door is open”.

When Little Red Riding Hood came into the bedroom, Grandmother was listening to rock music on her Walkman.

“Grandma”, said Little Red Riding Hood. “This is a surprise! You like rock music”!

“Yes”, said Grandma. I listen to a lot of rock every day”.

“And Grandma”, said Little Red Riding Hood. “You like reading comics”!

“Yes”, said Grandma. “I read a lot of comics every day”.

“And Grandma”, said Little Red Riding Hood. “You like chewing gum”!

“Yes”, said Grandma. I like chewing gum but I like little girls like you better”.

Suddenly Little Red Riding Hood took an aerosol out of her pocket and sprayed Grandma.

“I knew you were not Grandma”.

Later she found her grandmother hiding in the garage.

“Thank you”, said Grandma. “That burglar wanted to take all my money and credit cards”.

“Let’s call the police”, said Little Red Riding Hood.

II. Let’s play and check your hearing.

Игра “Проверка слуха”.

Учитель шепотом проговаривает предложение. Играющие должны услышать и повторить предложение без единой ошибки. После того, как ученик озвучил услышанное предложение, оно проецируется на экран для контроля.

Для первой команды:

T: What are you going to wear?
P: What are you going to wear?

T: I am not sure. May be a red dress?
T: I wore it for the last party.
T: Why don’t you wear a blouse?
T: I think it’s very pretty.
T: Can I wear your white sweater?

T: Isn’t the skirt too big for your?
T: I don’t know. I don’t care.
T: What about your black suit?
T: No, I look stupid in it.
T: Come on, be a good girl.
T: I am going to wear my new trousers.

III. Spell the word and write it on the blackboard. Контроль лексики.

IV. Who knows a lot? Say what you know about the country.

Учитель предлагает выбрать одну из двух карточек с заданием. Каждой команде нужно рассказать по-английски то, что знает о стране (по одному предложению). Ученик, который ничего не смог сказать о стране, приносит команде “0” очков. А за каждое правильное предложение команда (и сам участник) получает одно очко.

V. Give the Russian equivalents for the proverbs. Учащимся предлагается найти русский вариант к данным пословицам.

VII. Gather the harvest. Собери урожай.

На ватмане нарисована яблоня, на которой висят яблочки, прикрепленные магнитами. На обратной стороне яблока указан номер вопроса. Ученик “срывает” яблоко и называет № вопроса. Учитель озвучивает вопрос. Если ученик отвечает правильно, то он получает 1 очко и кладет яблоко в корзину, где написано “Right”, если он отвечает неверно – то в корзину с надписью “Wrong” и ничего в свой зачет не получает. У каждой команды по две корзины.

VIII. Write the song correctly. Восстанови порядок слов песни.

Учащимся раздается текст песни, разрезанный на части. Нужно в процессе прослушивания восстановить его порядок, т.е. соединить отрезки фраз на карточках. Каждый ученик восстанавливает текст из своего набора карточек у себя на парте.

IX. Who is the best in grammar? Контроль грамматики в форме игры “виселица”.

Два последних игрока сидят друг напротив друга. Перед ними слева 6 карточек с формулами грамматических времен, а справа колода карточек с неправильными глаголами, написанными по-русски.

Они по очереди берут по одной карточке и называют:

1. грамматические формулы;
2. три формы глагола по-английски.

За правильный ответ ученик получает очко. Если нет-то помощник учителя рисует для этого ученика часть “виселицы”, как на рисунке 1.

Примечание: если ученик оказался “повешенным”, но у него больше очков, чем у другого игрока, то каждое очко компенсируется одной из частей тела. Последний герой это тот, кто не попал на “виселицу” или у кого на ней оказалось меньше частей тела.
