Задачи:
Образовательная: расширять кругозор и повышать общую культуру учащихся.
Развивающая: развивать языковую догадку и логическое мышление через анализ и сравнение, развивать умение обосновывать свой выбор и умение общаться.
Воспитательная: учить правильному отношению к собственному здоровью, пропагандировать здоровый образ жизни.
Ход урока
I. Оргмомент
Good morning. Sit down, please. I'm glad to see you healthy and strong at our today's lesson. The things we're interested in today are: “Health and body care”. You'll learn the new words meaning new parts of the body, we'll discuss the rules of how to keep fit and we'll get acquainted with the English proverb about health.

Let's revise the words meaning the parts of the body. Be ready to answer my questions and do what I'll ask you to. – Touch your eyes. Touch your nose. Give your hands to each other and shake them, please. Show your arms, please. Put your hands on your heads, please. Good. – Now answer my questions, please.

So it's time to learn the new words. Let's try to guess their meanings in different ways.
pulse –
temperature – the words sound a bit similar to the Russian ones. Can you guess it?
chest –
lung – looking at the picture tell me, please, what there words mean.
blood – the blood is red. It fllows inside our bodies. What is it?
pressure – with the help of this thing (showing it) doctors take blood pressure.
break – Certain word combinations will help you understand it: to break a leg; to break a window; to break a rule.
regular – again the word sounds similar to a Russian one. What is it?
regularly – suffix-ly-shows the word belongs to an adverb, doesn't it?
health –
healthy –1 think the words are clear to you, aren't they?
touch – You touched different parts of your body at the beginning of our lesson.
immediately – it means at once.
medicine – Look at what I'm holding in my hands! This is a good medicine for headache/a cold/a stomachache.
hurt – Look at me! I've got a headache. My head hurts me.
pain – is ache.
silly – is just the same as stupid.

If we want to be healthy and strong, we should follow certain rules. You're devivded into groups. Read and discuss these rules, choose the best one and prove it's the best rule.
1) Get up early and go to bed early to keep fit.
2) Take a cold/cool shower to keep fit.
3) Never smoke to keep fit.
4) Eat healthy food to keep fit.
Are you going to follow the rules? Great!
VI. It's time to read a new proverb.
Good health is above wealth.
To help you find the Russian equivalent for this proverb, let's read a story. You should fill in the
