Урок: в 7-м классе «Traditions, holidays, festivals».

Цель урока:

  • Образовательная: развивать навыки диалогической речи на основе прочитанного текста и совершенствовать грамматические навыки (Past Simple, Past Progressive).
  • Развивающая: развивать логического мышления, творческих способностей.
  • Воспитательная: воспитывать умение работать в паре, воспитывать уважение к мнению других.

Оснащение урока: проектор, экран, компьютер, раздаточный материал, иллюстрации по теме

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Т.: Hello boys and girls.

Sit down please.

Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

Good. Thank you.

The subject of our lesson is Traditions, holidays, festivals. The aim of our lesson is to review the material we have learnt and to develop our skills in talking and grammar. Is it clear? So we shall start our lesson

Т.: Let’s begin our lesson with the phonetic drill.

First of all, Let’s brush up our phonetics. Listen to me and try to repeat after me. Be attentive. These words will help you in our lesson

You worked in pairs at home, you read text about different holidays and completed the table. And now tell us what you have learned

I got a letter from Tom two days ago. He wrote about his holiday. Let’s read this letter and then remake it into the past. 

Today our family celebrate New Year. We wish each other Happy New Year and send special greeting card. My mother is making dinner when I decorate New Year tree. My sisters are listening to music when several guests dance and sing a song. Today we have a very good time. We wish you a Marry Christmas and Happy New Year.
